Green Hills Engineering College (GHEC), Solan is managed by a trust constituting of members who are education oriented. Members of the GHEC Society are always willing to propagate knowledge through discipline and spread the light of education.
The college has demonstrated perennial evidence of quality and merit since its inception. Green Hills College of Engineering has achieved a respectable position in all government funded and private colleges in the Solan district.
At Green Hills Engineering College, major emphasis is laid on developing a student – mentally, on a firm ground of knowledge, self-discipline, creativity as well as physically; through sports and various other activities. Here, we focus on motivating our students to innovate and also prepare them for rigors of social, professional and their personal lives.

Why to Join Green Hills Engineering College (GHEC), Solan:
- World class infrastructure: State of the art architecture, well-equipped labs and library, a superb administrative block. Also, our college provides vocational training to the students in the nearby area.
- Non-Academics: Separate common rooms for boys and girls, sports rooms and spacious rooms for conducting seminars and conventions. We also have ten buses to provide services for our students.
- Scholarships: Scholarships are provided to meritorious students based on results of H.P. Technical University. Rs. 3000 for 1st position and Rs. 2000 for 2nd position in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year.
- Awards: College chairman has been awarded ‘Edupreneurer Award 2013’. Also, CSR-GHRDC ranked GHEC as 2nd Top Emerging College in India, 2010. College received the Best Engineering College Award and is ranked 1st among private colleges spread all over Himachal Pradesh. International Accreditation Organization (United States of America) has granted GHEC the Candidacy Status.

I give hpcet exam . But due to category system my seats were taken by sc st category people. Application forms and other things were on hptu site everything was there. Timing of examination is 3 hrs which is sufficient. If we remove this cast system then that is good

The positive remark of the college is, the environment of the college is good. It location is outside the city. Their is no chance of pollution in the college. It is pollution free College. And the negative remake is that the roads which connect the college to the main highway is not good.

Positive remarks are study , environment , infastructure and the negative remarks are the ragging in our college. Some students are take drugs in our college. No responsibility of college after working hours in college, in hostel there is no peice in day and night

Study teacher faculty alumni network hostel facilities are the positive remarks about college but the only negative remarks about college is the transportation that is only weak point of the college. If transportation facility gets good then our college is the best college.

When any case the college decision to take our benefit not take justice and play with student career one of my friend case and my friend father say to college I want to see CCTV video the college registrar says this is not for you it is for our purpose and principal says to me if your friend file case to college I get out to u from this college

good remark is our faculties are excellent they know how to tackle with the students problem and they are interactive also so it is really a good thing our college's infrastructure is excellent overall experience is pretty good. as it is situated in the middle of the valley. which attracts everybody
Course Curriculum Overview:
Very good course structure and cover all main aspects which will benefit student in future. Structure is not very hard and focus on content which will help Student in future. College providing theory as well as they focused on practicals.

At last I only would like to say that It was a great experience there and now missing my college days.

College management is not very good. They are basically want to earn money from college and take its educational life as profession and not as passion.

The location of college is quite well the weather is awesome , the pleasant and green hills surrounded give a silent ,pleasant way to study but the facality must be changed the are not so good to teach b.tech students and lack experiance in feild of teach
