- The overall atmosphere of this institute is very good including the method of teaching, faculty is well educated and are able to adapt with the new technology.
- The campus is very vast, that is of 852 acres, you'll find everything within the campus, including a grocery store, a supermarket, some cafes and you'll find every essential product within the campus itself.
Dislikes
- There are not many options available to travel to city, sometimes you even pay more to travel to city that to travelling to your homeplace.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is very relevant to me as I wanted to learn more about mechanical systems in the upcoming years the rise of electric vehicles and the use of artificial intelligence in mechanical systems will increase, so this influenced me to take this course. The overall curriculum of this course is good but it can be improved by increasing the focus on the practical part rather than more emphasizement on theory and even the number of exams should also be reduced, rather evaluation should be done on the basis of a real-life project.
Internships Opportunities :
Various internship opportunities are provided. This year also more than 100 students received internship offers mostly for the roles of software developers, assistants, and many more. Some Internships are even provided within campus which makes it good for many students. The average stipend per month is about 50000 rupees.
Placement Experience :
The overall placement scenario of the college is good, despite the recession going on, the overall placement was about 77% which is above par. This year different global companies like Microsoft and Warner bros made many offers. The average placement of the institute was about 16 lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The overall fee that is to be paid is around 14 lakh for a general candidate whose household income is more than 5 lakh per annum, the scholarships are also provided on the basis of household income by the institute itself. There are numerous other scholarships that are also provided which include the Aditya Birla Scholarship program, the Tata Scholarship for girls, and many more. The fee hike is not so often. But overall the fee is a bit higher than usual.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of the institute is very good, indeed it the the First Smart Institute which is made with total planning. A well build library and computer centre is also provided. Now coming towards the clubs run by the students, the is a club present for everything that you can ever think let it be innovations, robotics, sports, etc. Also, there are numerous fest that happen every semester, balancing curricular and co-curricular activities equally.
Hostel Facilities :
The room is well equipped with an air conditioner, a chair, a bed, a study table, and an almirah. There is single occupancy. Now the meal quality is average with different menus for different months. 4 meals are provided in a day which includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner.
Admission :
The admission is based on the rank of JEE Advanced. Firstly you'll have to qualify JEE mains,Then you'll have to qualify JEE Advanced with a respectable rank and also you'll have to score minimum of 75% marks in your board exam or be in top 20 percentile.
Faculty :
The best thing out here is the Faculty-to-student ratio which is 1:4, it is best among all top engineering colleges. Also, the faculty out here is very well qualified and are also provided with the best-in-class educational equipment. The faculty always tries to make the concept easy and understandable. Students are regularly provided with the relevant study materials and regular quizzes and assignments are given so as to test students knowledge about any particular topic.
