Remarks :

Being a science stream student it's always one's dream to study in IITs as they say its elite institute of India. And IIT Jodhpur is no more an exception to this elite group, don't get disguised by NIRF rankings its just because they give institute extremely low marks in perception. IITs are IIT for a reason and they will maintain the standards and at any costs and above that the peer you get is unmatchable.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course are being modified in accordance to the need of the industry and what industry requires from their employees and it is latest. From year 2019 onwards the branch change policy changed which now says anyone who will score above 9.0 CGPA will be eligible to change branch. Things like specialisation(disciplinary as well as inter-disciplinary), minors etc have been introduced, so basically a Bio engineering student also can opt for CSE,EE,ME courses after seventh semester as well as can go for minors in Entrepreneurship etc Facilities are overall good the hostel are like heaven place for students, dining facility is just like all other places.

Placement Experience :

Placement are very good, the average package is around 16 lpa. Career development cell is working very hard to bring more companies to campus and make these figures even larger. In 2019 the institute also held a meet for alumni, and tried to incorporate things with the fields they are working in. Alumni are working at some very reputed positions, so we can say that institute have decent enough alumni base. Entrepreneur cell is very active and happening.

College Events :

The peer you get is amazing, there is a great interaction between students of different years and they are jointly trying year by year to make it better. Lots of fest are being introduced and students work very hard to make it better than the previous years. IGNUS is the main cultural fest of the college, then there is Prometeo for technical, Spandan for college people, Framed for Design and Arts, Aaftab for literature, Ideaspark and Inicio for entrepreneurship etc. Almost all the festivals are managed and celebrated by students and these all are actually best parts of session.

Campus Life :

Campus is not completely ready now but basic buildings are functional, sports facilities are being developed now, WiFi is vey good, size of library is not that big and mostly have digital books in them and Labs are very well equipped.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel at IIT Jodhpur are far better than any other college. You get a single-seater room with centralized AC and all the basic amenities like table, chair, bed, almirah, etc, and LAN Ports. Each hostel has, a garden, TV room, Gym, Reading Room, Indoor game room. Toilets and other things are very well maintained. You don't need to clean the room or wash your clothes, there is room service and Laundry and you don't have to pay extra for that.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements starting from the 4th year. You get an option to opt a semester for internship in 4th year and the other semester becomes your placement semester. Good known companies visit our campus and we proudly present a good placement rate every year including the recession time. My plan is to work in an IT firm after my college degree. 90-95 percent students get placed by the end of cycle, rest go for masters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think most part of the curriculum was irrelevant The knowledge they give is theoretical There curriculum can't make anyone job ready Curriculum could be better if some usefull subjects added and this is the problem with almost every college in india

the college provides decent placement opportunities for freshers, The average placement ranges from 3 to 5 lpa and the highest placement can go up to 10 - 30 lpa. The college provides internship opportunities too after completing of 3rd year which means students might be able to deposit their own fees for the final year( 4th year).

Placement Experience:

The average placement of the college can be concluded as 4-7 lpa. Mining being the creamy layer of the college With an average placement of 12-16 lpa and 100% placement is really phenomenal. Electrical engineering has recently performed very well with an astonishing 95% placement of students with an average of 6-7 lpa and 12,16 lpa being highest. Agricultural engineering is also an underrated branch of the college with 100% placement. Other branches like civil engineering and mechanical engineering are relatively not preferred by students due to bad professors and lack of good placement ratio
