Nice infrastructure for New gallery, CC buliding, administration building, Library etc. Newly built infrastructure are good... Trees are everywhere in the campus.. very green campus with a large area..It also has 19 lakes which is somewhat good..
All types of sports all played here.. There is also a sports complex.

Most labs are outdated.. some of the Equipments are faulty.. Old gallery looks devastated and Old...
Old Hostels like BH3 , BH8 etc are very dirty and are in poor condition..

Course Curriculum Overview :

Electrical engineering is a four year course. I got this seat through Josaa counseling. Regular exams are conducted In NIT Silchar.. With Mid sem and end sem constitue most of the marks.. Exams level are moderate with Engineering Mechanics being exception.It is like a Jee advanced paper.

Class Size : 85Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

I am in first year and therefore I have very less idea about internship but the training and placement cell provide ample opportunities to students for internships. Recently Our senior from electrical department got internet in MATWORKS with stipend..

Placement Experience :

From 7th semester of our BTech courses, students are getting placed.. Both in campus and off campus placements are there Most students of Btech degree are placed with a overall percentage of 90% I was planning get a job after my BTech

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarship are there for weak section of society.. My fees is somewhat between 140000 to 150000 years as I didn't receive any scholarship or anything. Hostel and mess charges are 22500 rupees. This is comparatively higher than other government colleges.

Campus Life :

Many clubs are there like dance club drama club music club eco club etc. Asia biggest digital library Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam digital resource centre is there for all kinds of books.. All types of sports are played here with high grounds and sports complex.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are already allotted to everyone who got BTech course in Nit silchar through Josaa counseling. First years hostels are good but food quality is not satisfactory. A room of two student is alloted to everyone with a bed cupboard and a study table. Electricity and water supply is available 24*7

Hostel Fee : INR 22500 per year

Admission :

Exam - jee mains and jee advanced Eligibility - 12 th with science(PCM) Site- Jeemains- National Testing Agency https://jeemain.nta.ac.in JEE Main It held for 2 sessions in a year. Jee mains - moderate Jee advanced - hard Total applicants - 1300000

Faculty :

Professors - Some are good some are friendly some are highly qualified and some are outdated... Student - teacher ratio- A section has atleast 85 students to which a subject teacher is alloted..the ratio is 85:1. Highly dissatisfied

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choose EE because it's have both core and it features so i believe that I will go for core but if the situation changes then accordingly i will shift. The curriculum is pretty good in this campus according to me that's why I have choose this course. I don't think I have enough thinking level to suggest about that. Before exam there should be some gap for studies purpose I mean to say classes should be off. And everything is good.

Placement Experience:

Placement drives are held in December of every year for the students who complete their 7th semester. Placements are quite good over here, The highest package this year is 2.4 crore and the average package fluctuates between 20 to 25 LPA every year. One can also go for higher studies, there is no harm.

MY GREENISH COLLEGE

Course Curriculum Overview:

My branch is Computer Science and Engineering. I am interested in computer skills like gaming, web development, coding, etc that's why I choose this course. In my college, every facility is provided like labs, sports ground and kits, medical facility, hostels and mess and, well educated and skilled faculty. Faculty : student ratio is around 1:50. Faculties are well experienced (Ph.D. holders) and have good teaching skills. But, I want to mention one thing that, you can't totally depend on the faculty, you need to pay extra effort by itself. B.Tech is of 4 years course that is divided into 8 semesters. Every semester 2 main exams are conducted. Exams are not much easy but also not too hard. You need to focus on academic too for decent pointers. If you are a sincere student then getting a good pointer is not hard.
