Remarks :
The college is one of the bests in India at present and anyone who is planning to do a BTech in any course can choose this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is absolutely fine and no student should have a problem with it. It is kind of research-driven and fair also as we have a CGPA system and the topics taught are completely relevant to the subject. This helps in the real life industries while we go for a job.
Placement Experience :
The placements are better than the other colleges I would say. Almost every branch has above 90 percent of the students getting placed. Internships are also offered by the companies which also give PPO for good work done.
College Events :
There are a number of fests celebrated in our college including Engineer, Incident and Bharat Darshan. The incident is the best among all and is known to be the second best fest in south Indian colleges. Apart from this, there are many sports events and inter NIT events which take place in our college.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Total expenditure for a general merit candidate is approximately 2 lakhs per annum. People with categories and any physical disability get concession in fees. Also, people coming through the DASA entrance exam have a different fee structure which is not known by me.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No, I haven't opted for any such scholarship or loan. There are students who apply for scholarships and loans too and getting a loan is easy for this college as it is a government college.
Campus Life :
The campus life is too good. The gender ratio is around 5:3 boy to girl. There are a lot of extracurricular activities in the campus going on every day or maybe weekends. Labs are well furnished and activities such as debates and robotics also take place.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel room fee is around 5000 per semester. And the mess fee is different from this which is around 25 thousand per semester. The facilities are rather decent I would say. All the necessary items are provided. But there are no common washing machines and Iron boxes.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni network is good and the seniors are helpful. They are friendly and frank to everyone in the college.
Admission :
I got admission through an entrance exam named JEE Main. There were 6 rounds of counseling in this. I got chemical in the 3rd round. After that, we had to go to the college and lock our seats and pay the required fees. Then we had to come for verification and the admission was done after payment of the left out amount.
Faculty :
The faculty is quite good at our college with a huge amount of experience and good teaching skills. They relate the text to the practical world so that students have a better way of understanding it. They are helping in nature and interact with the students without any hassle.
