I choose applied electronics and instrumentation. I was deeply interested in electronics and mathematics. It was really interesting to learn the deeper subjects involved in the electronic engineering. It provided a connection and meaning in the real world application in our daily life.
Internships Opportunities :
There are many internship opportunities in our college. Now, the University has made internships compulsory. There are many companies that offer internships before work. Also vssc and other sectors offer internship opportunities.

The fees structure is around 35000 if you are opting a government college. There are various scholarships available in both government and other sectors. I received a scholarship from pragati which is for single girl child.
Campus Life :
College life is the best here. Lots of fun activities, cultural fest and the best campus atmosphere are the main hoghlists. Our college fests are mainly classified in three: Dhwani, Drishti and Disha. Libraries and sports area are also relevant here.
Admission :
The admission process was not that tough. It was allotted based on the rank obtained in the Kerala Engineering Entrance exam otherwise known as KEAM. So I first got allotted at Barton hill govt engineering college. But during spot allotment I got allotted Applied Electronics and Instrumentation at College of engineering Trivandrum. We can choose colleges according to our preferences.
