The faculties in this department are really nice
There are many things to do besides class there are clubs for everything

Dislikes

Lab infrastructure can be improved. Servers are slow

Course Curriculum Overview :

Btech in cs is pretty relevant. Especially technology like AI and machine learning. There are courses for that too in various colleges but most of the things learned are similar. With this course you get more options to explore later on

Class Size : 75Course Fees : INR 7000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are many companies offering employment and internship opportunities. A few are UST, IBS, IBM, Deloitte, Visteon, 09, trellix, cred, Daimler, TCS Air India and many more. These were software development role. There were data analytics and chatbot dev and many other roles too. Average stipend for internship is 25k.

Placement Experience :

Most people in btech cs have got employment of some sort even in this time of recession. Placements begin from the sixth semester and go on till the end of course. Employability after the course mainly depends on the skills you've developed on your own or the experience gained from internships

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Very affordable course. It's only 7000 for a year. I also have a scholarship, central Sector scholarship . You can apply for it when you begin the course on the national scholarship portal. There are placements too

Campus Life :

Campus Life is great. Not too hectic . The technical fest and cultural fest, drishti and dhwani are usually held around April and may. There are great badminton courts and basketball courts . Ground is pretty good. The gymnasium could be better

Admission :

Wrote KEAM exam. I opted for courses I liked keeping my rank in mind. Kept this course on the top of my list and got it. Admission process is not tedious. I have reservation but I had enough rank to get in without any reservation benefit

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
