I learned so much things during my time there both academically and personally. The curriculum was rigorously and comprehensive. Covering lots of things in my field.
I had the opportunity to learn from highly qualified Professors who were experts in their respective field

Dislikes

Dealing with administrative procedures and papper work could be cumbersome and time consuming
The college offered Industry interaction and internship , i felt that i could have been more robust initiative to bridge the gap between academic and industry

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course focuses on the core concept of Ece. And it was a significant factor in my decision. The curriculum adequately prepares students for real-world application by providing a blend of theoretical and practical knowledge. Ensuring the curriculum remains updated with the latest technology.

Class Size : 74Course Fees : INR 13390 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are lot of internship opportunities are coming. Texas instrument is the first opportunity. And then software companies are coming like visteon, cynlr, Infosys. The stipend they offers around more than 5 lakh.

Placement Experience :

In my college there are more opportunity to get placed. And lot of placements are coming and hiring more students. The average CTC is 36 lakh. In this year a 80 percentage of students get placed. My plans after getting the degree is I have to take master degree

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have egrants scholarship so my tuition fee is 5000 it will be directly paid by egrants. The total cost of education per year is around 20000. There are more scholarships available. I got egrants only. And ffe, CETA award scholarship is available.

Campus Life :

There are 2 fest in my college. Dwani is an arts fest. And drishti is tech fest. Drishti and dwani is the second largest fest in Kerala. And iam captain of the women's softball tournament. There are lot of sports are in my college. Volleyball, cricket, tennis, football, khokho. And also athletics

Hostel Facilities :

Iam in college women's hostel. And it's very safe for women's. And the meal quality and menu is very well and the mess dutys are very properly served the food. The registration process is admission is based on long district students and income.

Hostel Fee : INR 40000 per year

Admission :

The admission process for my course was quite structured. I am entering through a lateral entry test with a rank of 111.I am finding the application form application fees and application dates through my institution.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
