festivals are verey good and there are lot of festivals called dhristi,dhani, disha.
placements are also very good. average package is around 6lpa

faculty is not good. they didnt know have much knowledge and they waste a lot of time of the students
infrastructure is not that great. bathrooms are poor.college gym is small.

Course Curriculum Overview :

course curriculum is old but has all the basic things that we have to learn.it is a bit vast in second and third years. in first year all most all branches have same syllabus.in second year onwards we go into core subjects. each subject have 5 modules.there is two internal test between a semester and a final examination. syllabus is a bit vast but it good to learn all the concepts. overall it is good.

Class Size : 74Course Fees : INR 13330 per year

Internships Opportunities :

there are lot of oncampus and offcampus internships. ti came in to our college of internships.most of the companies come for interships and placements and they mostly come in seventh and eighth semester

Placement Experience :

placements are very good.placements mainly come in seventh and eighth semester. there are lot companies coming. last year texas instruments came and 3 students were placed for 34lpa. also there are lot of it companies.around 70% students gets the placements. i recently placed on a company in Trivandrum. average package is around 6lpa.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

for a year tution fee is neraly 13350. i am satying at the college hostel and in a month hostel fee is nearly 3500. there is a lot governement and private scholorships.there is state governement scholorship called egrants and it will get to all the college students. people belongs to oec sc,st donot want to pay any fees. general will get leasure money.i also get a private scholorship named FFE and it will provide 40000 per year. there are lot of campus placements also. i got placed in a company.

Campus Life :

the best thing about the college is the fests. there are lot of fest. it is called three D's of cet.they are Dhisha ,Dhrishti,Dhwani.it is held in even semesters.there are main librairies and department libraries , all are good. campus is open till 9.30pm.there is gym and indoor courts.there are numerous clubs also

Hostel Facilities :

for men the college hostel have a capacity of 430 and almost all girls can get in to ladies hostel.i am staying at college hostel and in a room there will be two people.those who cannot get into college hostel can take private hostels or rooms.the admission of college hostel is simple.you have to apply by showing where you live and the income. based on that you will get hostel.the fee is around 3500 per month

Hostel Fee : INR 40000 per year

Admission :

this college is under kerala techinical university. the admission is through KEAM examination which is out of 920 marks and also it considers plus 2 score in chem, bio and maths.i choosed this college because it is best in kerala. i got a rank of 1209 and i didnt expect to get into this institution with my rank. But i was general ews so i got admission in electronics and communication engineering. general cut off was around 750 rank. there was three allotments.admission process was simple. we have to came to the college for admission.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
