- The working of different clubs is really and you get to learn a lot from them.
- The environment is full of greenery and the roads are also safe.
Dislikes
- The hostel food is way worse and it feels we are getting looted every month in the name of charges.
- The teaching in classrooms is also not that good, certain teachers literally don't know anything about their subjects
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum in the first semester was same for all branches, but now the subjects have switched towards more branch oriented, e.g. thermodynamics is introduced in mechanical engineering, circuits in Electrical engineering etc. and the exams are of decent level.
Placement Experience :
The tech branch placements have downgraded a lot, it is becoming near to impossible for tech students to get placements, even the computer science students, the core placements have improved, branches such as mechanical and PI are getting better at placements, electrical branches are going good in placements
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The admission fee is 60000 for general but they are reduced if are economically weaker, or if you are from a lower caste, after your certificates are verified, hostel charges involve 10000 for the room and 40000 for the mess.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure is pretty good, there are various clubs, I myself am in 2 clubs, there are various branch oriented clubs and various which are open to all branches, they are also compulsory to join as you are going to get credits for getting into clubs which will help in your academics.
Hostel Facilities :
The rooms are good, made for three students in one room, in first year, but the food facility is bad, the food quality has downgraded a lot, also there are some nonsense fines that are charged over nothing even when no rules are announced.
Admission :
The admission is done through your JEE Mains score through Josaa counseling and CSAB counseling also in which you can opt for whichever branch you want to be admissioned at, there are home state and other quota available as well, once the counseling is done, you need to go to the physical reporting at the college itself, but the dates are provided by them only, after which the documents are verified and you get admission. The cutoffs for tech branches are higher in comparison to the core branches, and the physical reporting is done on rank basis, so the higher rank students come first, so usually tech students come first for physical reporting, also physical reporting in last phases were really slow, students had to wait a lot than the alloted time. This college is in the top 10 NITs of the country and easily competes with many lower IITs, so it's a good decision to get admitted in this college
