There are enough books in library for us to issue and journals are available too.all the rooms are under AC condition with smart technology aided including presentation and video on smart board. Enough extracurricular activities are done related to art , dance , music and sports . There is a sport fest called urja . All types of sports are included , infrastructure is good and is improving day by day.there are different student run social groups like MES society for mechanical and ecm students, there is team siksha which focuses on teaching poor students for free which had a good impact on student life.

Hostel Facilities :

When I came this college Hostel facility was ok to just below decent there are still problems like internet issues for many students but now there is much improvement , there are lan and wireless connection for internet initially there is single room for 2 students which is ok but the room is too small but in second year we get separate rooms including balcony so it's worth it.meal quality and menu may varies from person to person . For me it's ok to good level.registration process for hostel and affordability is very simple.

Admission :

I gave my jee paper where I got 97.2 percentile and the cut off rank was 33000. For knowledge about application form ,fees and application dates we can visit the official website of nit jamshedpur if it's not working no tension there is glitch many times I myself have faced but before that you need to go through josaa counselling to get a seat.each semesters we have midsem and endsem examination and the difficulty level of paper lies between moderate to tough side. For admission process they must keep someone who can clear the doubts of students and make them clear the procedure on all important notice like fee remission and admission process as earlier I was very confused.

After the completion of 3 rd years, students are eligible for placement. About 10 companies came when I was there and they don't have soo many offers. The highest package of 10 lakh waa given to our best student in computer science the average package was 5-6 lakh that's the average package of most colleges here it is the same. The placements of students were quite average about 70 % cause most of the students get diverted. I planned to go in some other field apart from engineering.
