Course related to mechanical branch are mostly physics based and critical problems solving made me to choose this course. Curriculum related to this course are mostly based on real life technical problems which help to develop the critical thinking of the students. Teaching methods should be more on field practical based along with problem solving. Exam paper level are tough and conducted in fixed interval of 2 months except considering class test.

NIT Jamshedpur is known for its strong industry connections, and the mechanical engineering curriculum is likely designed to align with current industry standards. Courses on modern manufacturing techniques, CAD/CAM, and materials science are included, reflecting industry needs.

The curriculum is not that tough, you'll get enough time which you can use to learn new skills and the college has various clubs which will help you with this. There are regular industrial visits, which will make you learn about practical aspects and also will teach you about the safety measures that you need to have. However I believe the curriculum is way too theoretical and lacks innovation. But our college and faculty members are working on this and it'll improve. The exams are not too tough, however, the frequency of exams is high but it was because our session was delayed due to COVID-19.

College follows the old traditional syllabus that is being followed from a long ago. However some modern technologies are also taught via various technical clubs and workshops organised by our seniors.

Course Curriculum is based on UGC and GATE syllabus. And follows the same as in IITs. The curriculum is robust and very friendly and gives ample time for self development and learning new skills. Annually 2 end semester exam and 2 mid semester exams are held and they aur mostly on the medium level.

Course cirriculam is essential to guide teachers in what to teach ,how much depth of knowledge is needed for the grade ,and a timeline to follow so the year will be completed. No need to improvement in the course curriculam and teaching method all are ok.

The course curriculum is nice as it includes the proper time need to be given to grasp the concepts . The curriculum prepares you for real world applications only if you are passionate about it and even there are different technical clubs as per your interest . curriculum can be more improved if there could be some unique projects to be compulsory done by students .the diffrent exam patterns as per the level of the paper there are open book examination sometimes as well and the level is moderate to tough. There are internal tests as well including midsem and endsem examination and the attendance criteria of 75% exist.

The curriculum of BTECH MECHANICAL ENGG. BRANCH is very old according to me . There should be addition of some modern technologies used in mechanical field especially in automobile industries . The course structure is still the same as our grand parents (if studied there) had studied.
