Course Curriculum Overview :

The course was quite relevant according to my needs, and the course was helpful also. The subject taught in the course was based on the real world secenarios. It must include some practical knowledge also for the betterment of the students. The exam timing and secheduling was well planned.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fees was nominal and also there was also a scholarship program for S/C, S/T, and economic weaker section. The rate hike takes place after every 1-2 years, but it is very nominal. My complete cost for the education was Rs.66000 including tution fees service charges and other charges. The Scholarship program run by the administration is available on the klyan portal of our college. There are several companies which visted our college for the campus drive, the job role depends on the companies demand.

Campus Life :

The campus life of the college is quite happening, and there is also our fest held in our college named DSPMU Mahotsav which is held generally during the end of the academic calender. The also one sports event held in our college in the month of feb to march. The library facility is also top notch you will be getting which ever books you desire. The class are well equipped with the smart class facility. There are lots of the extra-curricular activity available for the students. There are lots of student runned social group like ABVP etc. which works for the betterment of the student

Admission :

The admission process was quite smooth, Eligibility was min. 60% in academic. The application form was available online, and also all the process done was done on the internet. S/C, S/T, reservations are available and also there is a criteria for the economicaly weaker section. The frequency of the exam was regular and the difficulty level was quite moderate. The process should be made more transparent so that everyone must be aware of the process and also it makeing it transparent will disarm the fishi things.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I opted for is Bachelor in Computer Applications with cyber security, where I learn about programming languages(currently learning about C and C++), and then it comes to cyber security which is a part of the curriculum in the final year, I chose this course because of my interest in cyber security and forensics, also this course makes you industry ready to get into compies like wipro and Infosys. Exams in the college are very punctual, happen 2 times per semester, mid and end-semester exams.

Placement Experience:

The campus placement opportunities for B.Sc students is highly unsatisfactory as hardly any companies visit for placement. Although, there are placement opportunities for the commerce background students. The average package ranges from 3-4 LPA. Only 40-50% students get placements in satisfactory companies. Because of the New Education Policy, I plan to give the NET exam so that I am eligible for a job while I apply for M.Sc course.
