Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum of my course is very impressive and as a history enthusiast it's very interesting. It covers various parts of history and includes the history of foreign countries like USA and Japan. Most of the time we will get enough time to prepare for the exams.

Class Size : 56Course Fees : INR 18000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The students get various positions according to their skills and achievements in placements. Amazon and Godrej are some of the companies who provides opportunities for students and several NGOs provides various internships with stipend and without stipend.

Placement Experience :

The placement cell of college provides placements and internships for students with the average package of 5 lakhs. Amazon and Godrej are some of the companies who took students for their companies. From the 2nd year students can apply for placements. I am planning to do masters in Archaeology after finishing the course.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee for one year is 18000. College provides scholarship for the students per year. Also there are other government and private scholarships. Also College provides placements and internships for students through the placement cell.

Campus Life :

The college has 3 annual fests. They are typically held on November and March months. The college has 2 libraries one is general and another one is reference. We can read and study there. The libraries have variety of books that important for both academics and other. The college has projectors, lifts and ramps. The college has a sports society called NSO and offers various kinds of sports.

Admission :

Eligibility of the course was cuet exam. I wrote exams in subjects, English, History, Political Science and Sociology. My score was 724 out of 800. I got admission at LSR in the first allotment. I also got selected at JMI through cuet for BA HONS HISTORY. It was based on the history domain cuet score, and I got selected on the second list.

My experience of Delhi University

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course was good for me as I'm preparing for the upsc civil service examination so political science helped me a lot in my optional subject. Through my curriculum I got to know many theories and approaches that we can see in our daily lives and as I just said I want to go into bureaucracy so it is helpful for me. There is no improvement needed as such because my professors were actually so good. We used to have monthly tests for our internal and semester examinations which were on average neither easy nor difficult.

Average college of Delhi university with good faculty and good college

Placement Experience:

From last semester students become eligible for campus placements. There is below average placement in this college. Students almost opt for higher studies. But still there are many companies which visits but they offered on an average 3 lakh per annum package. Only 20% students got placement and rest of them opted for higher studies. My plan was clear at that time to go for research in economics

Magic in Miranda

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have been a lover of English as long as I can imagine. Being in Miranda only brings me closer to my beloved, as each one of my professors only seem to strengthen my affection of the language and for the literature it offers. It teaches you in abundance about how the world used to work and how it works today. One who studies english shall never ever fail to navigate their way through life. Considering the examination, if you have it in you to look at things beyond their exterior, you'll ace this subject. Though, I must state that being a subject course, it takes a little more than "one to two days before exam studies" to score a CGPA higher than 8.

As we can see , teaching method depends on old teaching that is reading and writing, professor comes and read the paragraph of the book and meanwhile students are noted it down...while some teachers prefers to practical learning other than this. See In our Admissions process We get to See many changes in the Admissions process and then the Education process like implement of New Education Policy 2020 which makes us deal with so many subject which are 7 in number and but talking about my college the teaching methods of the faculty members mainly based on the orally explaining the things or teaching through visuals like PPT which some How help us to understand the in a good and proper way. Good in terms of literal education but not the best one for good placements.

Placement Experience:

Third-year students are eligible for campus placement opportunities. Some of the companies that came to our college are PlanetSpark, RSVI, IDFC First Bank, FNP, Zoconut, etc. The highest package offered for our course is around 10LPA and the average package is 4-5LPA for positions like a translator, editor, content manager/creator, etc. However, the placement percentage of our college/course isn't that high. The average percentage of placement in our college is approx. 40%. My plan after completing the degree is to have a job alongside my Masters.
