Remarks :

Good coding culture. Close knit student community. Fun, clean campus. Reputable IIT. Extremely high growth rate even if new IIT. Good extra curricular. Small batch strength. Decent and consistent placements.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course syllabus needs to be more industry friendly, but still is well thought out. We are provided industry exposure in later years of engineering. All the faculties are top notch in their feilds and highly educated from premiere colleges.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 1200000 per year

Placement Experience :

Most bigshot software companies like Google India,Amazon,Delloitte etc visit on campus. Some good core companies also visit like LnT. The cse department boasts of very high placement packages,with median package being 15-16 lpa. While other departments have high number of qualified students in GATE with really good marks. Students do opt for outside their branch core company placements usually in software or finance. A number of students score well in BTech academically and opt to go for research, in foreign institutes or go for UPSC, PCS, CATexams(we have a number of alumni with good ranks in all three.)

College Events :

Each and every one of the fests is huge. And pretty decently pulled off. Tech is amazing in college, and cult fest is very fantastical. The sports fest is new and growing rapidly. Regular practise in sports in the evening. And tech activities are frequent, depending on how involved you are. Weekends are abuzz with some or the other activity or session from the clubs.

Campus Life :

Everything is modern and up to date in labs. The equipments are up to date with modern protocols. The wifi has amazing speed. Library is being expanded. And has a huge collection of research journals and useful books it even has a fiction section. And thousnads pf books on myriad of tech or humanities topics. Sports infra is improving rapidly. We have a wooden and mud badminton court. Three volley courts and two basketball courts. All recently finished. Talks of a swimming pool are also underway.

Hostel Facilities :

Girls hostels are great,artistically architectured. With all basic amenities. Lifts are sturdy and reliable, the hostels are new so really chiruppy fresh atmosphere there. Theres a small open air theatre as well here along with plenty of sitting area in base. The mess food is occasionally good but mostly healthy.

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per year

POV of an IITP student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I always had an interest in the world of technology in computers, so obviously when the opportunity to study CSE in an IIT popped up, I took it with both hands. Our courses are to the point and designed keeping in mind the relevant skills in today's tech world. The only drawback is that after all these years of revolution in education, we still got to study all the common subjects in our 1st year of B.Tech. There are two exams each semester with frequent quizzes in between.

Best college in terms of placement and opportunities

Placement Experience:

The campus placement here is very good. The percentage is around 90%. Internships are also offered on campus from the third year and stipend starts from 50K /month. Almost all multinational tech companies and startps visit here for campus placement. The placement in the core sector is also very good. the average package in this year is around 16 LPA and highest is around 82 LPA from Atlassian. Also, after graduating the admisssion to Post Graduate Curses become easy since you hold a degree of NIT Patna which is a institute of national importance.

Glimpses of M.A.C.E.T

Course Curriculum Overview:

The ratio of students to faculty is 60:1. Qualification of the faculty is M.tech, and their teaching style is very impressive. And one can understand it easily.
