- Hostel Availability is good.Every student get hostel in NIT MZ. From 1st year
Dislikes
- Hostel meal is very not eatable by students.And Water is also not good of Hostel. There fruits are also very expensive but hostel can provide it to students.
- Campus location from hostel. College is located a good distance from hostel so students have to do daily travel which is very scary in this type of roots. And blocks are also located a long distance.
Course Curriculum Overview :
NIT Mizoram Offers modern under graduate programmes in various branches of engineering my branch is mechnical. the insititute is on very beutiful location. the hole town is living on the mountain. The curriculum at NIT MIzoram is designed to promote research in both fundamental and applied knowledge for betterment of society.The mechnical Engineering has very broad opportunity area in core and non core also.mechanical engineers are able to do self work also via open a car shop for repairing and car work. Include more practical and industry-oriented teaching methods ,more focus on soft skills and personality development and updating the curriculum to keep pace with the letest technological advancements. The avg duration of a semester is 4.5 months. In this duration exam will be conducted by college 2 times. first exam known as mid-sem examination conducted middle of the semester approx after 1.5 months of starting date of semester and end sem has conducted last of the semester.
Placement Experience :
Optum ,TCS, Vedanta ,Samsung , Delloite ,DBS ,Byjus ,accenture and many companies are arrived at NIT MZ and gives decent offers in core and noncore also.Every Brach student will get offers via company. placements are good in this college till now bcz no of students are less. the highest package is offered to a student in NIT MZ is 28 LPA. and the average package is 8 lpa. almost 70 -80 % students get placed from college campus. My plan is about UPSC after getting degree I can do jo 1-2 year after my degree but final is UPSC.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
First year fees - 16000, 2nd year - 10000 ,3rd year-10000 (even semester -5150 , odd semester -4850) it is after apply the income certificate (annual income is less than 2.5 laks). without income certificate the fees is 140000 approx for all year. the complete fees of all 4 year is 46000 with income certificate (Some extra expenses will be taken) and without income certificate the total charges for all 4 year is 560000. hostel fees is seperated from academic fees. NSP scholarship is provided to students but on the basis of jee rank some selected student will gets nsp scholarship. Nsp gives approx 90000 rupees in 1st yr after that student will get 55000 rupees till 4th year. Home state scholarships are also provided to students who are not aplicable for NSP. College gives relexation in fees according to categories and income certificate. Traval expenses is very high for financial weak person it is very hard to afford their transport.
Campus Life :
The technical society of NIT MZ organize the annual fest Morphosis.But after 2019 there is no fest organize by any club There limited books are present in library.Library is very short and have limited collection of book. The classrooms are very old and new technologies are also not available in the classes. There is very poor condition of all this things.no activity happened in sports and extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities :
Wi-fi , Bed ,Chair ,Table ,Almirah. Meal provided by hostel is vey bad and not eatable also In the meal lainch is same one sabji , daal , roti and rice. Dinner 2 Days chicken and 1 day egg and for veg all three days paneer. rest days are normal meal same as launch. Breakfast also not good Puri , Fried rice unhealthy things are provided by hostel.But the meal is not good for students. Vegetables are also not good in hoatel. Hostel fees is approx 50000 per year and this is affordable. Hostel will provided to every student of NIT Mz. rent of rooms are very high and not affordable also. Transportation also very difficult to reach college campus.
Admission :
Eligibility is that student have JEE mains qualified. Admission through JOSSA and CSAB counceling. cut off will be less according to categories and homestate reservation also help to get seat in the college. The entrance exam is JEE Mains which is conducted by NTA every year in January and April months. There is 2 try give to the student for qualify jee mains and addmission in NITies Admission process is very clear and simple. Student have to fill counselling form of JOSSA and CSAB after this 6 round will come in JOSSA and after that CSAB will be conducted for remaining seats. Starting Fees of JOSSA is zero rupees after student get college then they have to give 17000 + College first year fees on the Jossa Platform to confirm seat. The cut-off for NIT Mizoram is less.
