Course Curriculum Overview :

I am from ece branch and I wanted nit and this was the last option I had and as ece is a good branch so I opted for this course there are many educational programs and awareness programme there are branch wise socities too There are two semester exams and there will be lab and internal and class test too and paper would be in moderate level

Class Size : 82Course Fees : INR 50000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are many internship facilities here. There are many internship programs conducted here . The companies collaborate with the nit so the fees too reduces There will be project opportunities too here As I am from 1st year I don't have any expertise in this area I have yet do to the internships

Placement Experience :

Placements are quite good The average package is 6lakhs and this year as the it sector is down mechanical and civil got placements Nearly 10 to 15lakhs . Nearly 65percent students get placed Companies like wipro, infosys, Amazon, flipkart do visit here There are internship facilities too

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As I am below 1lakh category my fees is reduced but for above 5 lakh they have to pay full fee that is 1lakh30k Academic wise it is quite ok and there are many scolarships for St and sc category mainly For obc and general scholarship opportunities are less Tution fee is increasing every year

Campus Life :

This is the only nit which do not have campus there are different blocks nearly 10.we have walk daily for classes and labs and it is very enjoyable with friends so the campus life is good There are very programme like freshers and farewell ans sports fest as the facilities and space is very less There Are few clubs and societies for each branch We do have an online portal for everything

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is not that good for the fees we are paying it have to be improved a lot the mess food is so bad and quality is also so poor and there are no place to eat outside also as the taste is so bad if you are not a picky eater then you can think to join here and I stay in hostel so I don't know much about pg but if you want to take a room you can search in durtlang or chaltlang as college is in that area

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

Admission process was quite good we have to submit so many papers. I am from obc so I don't have many reservations but as my income category is below 1 lakh so my fee is reduced Other category for more than 5lakhs have to pay full fee that is 1lakh 30k Exams are conducted twice which are semester exams and there are internal exams too

In 7th semester or in 8th semester we get the placements and in national institute core jobs are good then that of cse. Ee and ece or mech placement or nearly 90 percentage in this academic year. Average package is 9-10 lakh. highest package is 24 lakhs

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good. But , the faculty is not good. The benefits is you can prepare for another exam if you want. You get lots of free time to do prepare for whatever you want. If you want to prepare for gate then you can get lots of free time.

Placement Experience:

From your 6th or 7th semester you are eligible for placements. Many companies come to the university like Wipro, HCL, Banks, etc. You should get a minimum of 8.0 cgpa for maximize your chances of getting a placement job.
