Course Curriculum Overview :

I opted for this course because I wanted nit and it was the last option for me as my rank was low Teachers are fine here they are highly qualified There will be two semester exams every year and there will lab exams and internal Exam difficulty is moderate depends on the teacher there are many awareness programms

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 1030000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There are many opportunities for internships there are regular online meeting for internships and the internship fees reduces as they collaborate with nit I don't any of the projects yet as I am in first year but you do have many internships from iit and nit

Placement Experience :

From 3rd semester students can eligible for campus placements TCS and Infosys wipro kind of companies do visit And this year form mechanical and electrical and civil are placed max as the it sector is down 28lpa is the highest and the average is 6 to 7 lakhs 65 to 75 percent is average placement rate

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As I am form obc and above 5lakhs category I have to pay full fees that is 1lakh30k Other wise it 40k per semester for sc and st Mess fees is also high comparing the quality of food they provide the food is really so bad If you can adjust with food you can come here And this nit does not have campus and they have different blocks so you have to walk every where

Campus Life :

There are very few events happen like freshers farewell sport fest We do have some societies for our respective branches and they do provide funds for sports and some activities Classroom have smart boards and faculty is quite good And library do have good collection of books And for campus life with friends it's good and you can consider

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are good rooms are big and have 3 to 4 washrooms in one floor there are no fans in girls hostel but as the climate is good we can stay without fans And for the food it is too bad we can't eat this type of food if you are extremely picky eater like me Meal quality for the price I am paying is just so bad and menu does not have many varieties Registration is ok I don't know about the pg and rental but near durtlang or in city pg would be best because college is in durtlang

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

The admission process was quite ok and if you belong to the SC or ST category you will get so many benefits like there will be only academic fees and you can get so many scholarships and if you are from obc or oc and above 5 lakhs you have to pay the full fee and no scholarships My rank was 1 lakh 20k and with obc with that rank I got mizoram mechanical branch

In 7th semester or in 8th semester we get the placements and in national institute core jobs are good then that of cse. Ee and ece or mech placement or nearly 90 percentage in this academic year. Average package is 9-10 lakh. highest package is 24 lakhs

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good. But , the faculty is not good. The benefits is you can prepare for another exam if you want. You get lots of free time to do prepare for whatever you want. If you want to prepare for gate then you can get lots of free time.
