The weather and the climate is soo good and people also
As the labs are in different blocks walking there with friends is good

Sometimes walking that much distance is quite difficult
Food is very bad in hostel and out side too it is difficult to find good food

Course Curriculum Overview :

I wanted nit and this was the last option in nit so I took admission They do conduct many awareness and science programms and other academic meetings Faculty is also quite good and they are professional There will be two main semester exams and there would be internals and other lab exams

Class Size : 80Course Fees : INR 70000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

We have many internship opportunities here as our nit frequently collaborate with different companies there are many programms also regarding internships purposes and they give many certificates also for placements purpose and as I am still in 1st year I don't have any expertise in that area

Placement Experience :

Placements are also good Highest pkg is 28lakhs in eee department Companies like Wipro Amazon Flipkart Infosys do visit here and this year as the it sector is down so mechanical civil and electrical are placed with 10 to 15 lakhs pkg Approx 65percent is the placement rate

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

As I am from oc sectiona and my fees category is 1 to 5 lakhs so my fees is reduced and I have to pay 66k per semester where as for them who have fee category more than 5lakhs have to pay full fee of 1lakh30k No scolarships would be applicable for me but for SC and st have so many scolarships

Campus Life :

There are few events like farewell freshers and sports fest as they do not have own campus and it is difficult to conduct many programms There are many small awareness programms And for the library there quite a good amount of books related our courses For sports there are inter nits and one sports fest And we do have societies for our respective branches

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facility is very disappointing and very bad they have to improve a lot for hostel food and rooms are big and each floor have three to four washrooms But there are no fans but it is bearable as weather is cool Hostel food is so bad and if you can adjust with food you can consider joining here As I am staying in hostel I don't know much about pg but you can take room in durtlang or chaltlang as college is in that area

Hostel Fee : INR 32000 per year

Admission :

I am from oc category and EWS and I have rank of 87000 rank in my mains I have got reservation for EWS category And the admission process is also quite ok Exams are also moderate level . This nit does not have any campus so it would be. Better to keep this as last option

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester or in 8th semester we get the placements and in national institute core jobs are good then that of cse. Ee and ece or mech placement or nearly 90 percentage in this academic year. Average package is 9-10 lakh. highest package is 24 lakhs

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good. But , the faculty is not good. The benefits is you can prepare for another exam if you want. You get lots of free time to do prepare for whatever you want. If you want to prepare for gate then you can get lots of free time.

From your 6th or 7th semester you are eligible for placements. Many companies come to the university like Wipro, HCL, Banks, etc. You should get a minimum of 8.0 cgpa for maximize your chances of getting a placement job.
