Personally here in our college is the greenary in the campus. Everywhere here we find many trees and it gives you immense bliss

Here we find bit of college politics which disturbs.
Attendance is the big issue. We have to maintain 80% attendance.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum we have got here is on point and branch specific. Ours is the only NIT with the updated curriculum according to NEP2020. Usually other colleges have first year as a common for everyone but here in our college curriculum is branch specific and also for core branches core subjects start from 1st semester itself.

Class Size : 57Course Fees : INR 500000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee and accomodation fees are almost similar to the other NIT colleges like 5L as course fee and other some lack for accomodation. Many Scholarship are there some of government and some private scholarships. For financial assistance for SC and ST students of Kerala specific scholarship is being provided which even gives waiver for accomodation and mess too. For other states students waiver according to the category.

Campus Life :

Here we don't have that fancy typical infrastructure like other colleges. Our college is bit older (1961) so the infrastructure is older and typical Kerala style. We got greenary all over here. For social aspectsany events and gatherings are arranged many often. 1st year students are not allowed to join clubs, club inductions starts from 2nd year.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels are clean and well maintained. You'll get one bed, table and coubard. You can even take free room cleaning service once in a week. Bathroom and all other stuff is well sanitised. For registering for hostels you have to visit hostel main office after your admission process is Completed there you'll get hostel ID card and hostel room number.

Hostel Fee : INR 125000 per year

Admission :

Admission process here was bit complicated because most of the states give their documents in the regional languages but here for admission we need those documents either in English or hindi. I appeared for JEE and I had got 97.5 percentile, with the rank I got I got this college in CSAB 2nd round. There are various fee waivera for categories from home state and other states. Here usually we have quizes Midsems assignment and endsems in every semester. Our college is bit serious towards academics so the level of exams are tough.

G.E.C. PALAMU : A. Brief Overview .

Course Curriculum Overview:

See I have Jee mains exam in 2024 . I attended the JCECEB counseling, I got this college first I thought will this college be suitable for me , but when I came here I think that I am satisfied. I choose Electrical branch here . As I mentioned the course BEE and PPS. also helping us from the starting to get a better way to understand the course , means what is it all about . In my opinion the classes should be for much long duration as for now it's around 1.2 hours per class as per the routine, so according to me Classes duration should extend. As talked from the seniors I got to know that the difficulty level of exams are quite moderate , means the students who have studied for the exams will. Not find any difficulty bin scoring good , also most of the questions are repetitive.

Placement Experience:

There are over 800 placements everyyear we get from this college it's quite well we get the placement traning too for it, people at first may learn little low which could discourage me aa a student l, but believing that later on after gaining much more experience I could get the best One helpled me to stick on to this college palacement.if I don't get the deserved placement as well I would look for the gate exam by which I could countinue my education there with good standards..
