Course Curriculum Overview :

Biotechnology is a budding course from the corona times itself. Biotechnology is a nice subject as well so it was quite a good subject choice for me. In clg the subject is taught well although there is less faculty for the life science dep. The teaching is good overall.

Class Size : 40Course Fees : INR 71000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees structure is okay but we gave to pay a lot in fest ,freshers, farewell and other activities so a lot of other money is utilized .so it is quite expensive. Otherwise it's 71000 per year . Monthly is its 35500 and the course is okay for 3 years . Although now it is for 4 years.

Campus Life :

So the social life is good at guru nanak Institute of pharmaceutical Science and Technology. And we have a lot of clubs and I participate in sports and dance and We participate in fesh and freshers, so we enjoy we have lots of cultural activities. Thank you

Admission :

Admission is very easy here anyone can take admission here but it is very time conduminh.The college is really bad neither the faculty nor the lab is good. Terrible infrastructure. Never encourage their students in anything, No one should take admission here because not even the benches are in proper condition.

In this course various fields of biology are explored, leads to appearance of many opportunities for the master's degree. Regular practical classes helps to gain in hand experience. Insights and Experiences: A Comprehensive Review of College Life

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like chemistry. That's why I chose this course. I already mentioned previously that the 5th semester syllabus is huge with is not favourable for IIT JAM exam. The syllabus should be more concised and the semester should have atleast 6 months gap.

It was good to be a part of that college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course is good but you have to opt for masters and PhD to get a good placement. After bsc there's not any placement. The curriculum was basically practical and theoretical based. But I think it should be more practical so that we can get a job after doing bsc. The teaching method was good I didn't have any problem with that. As it was under Calcutta University so the exam questions were too difficult, sometimes it came out of our syllabus , i think they should change this a little bit .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.

Remarks:

This college still today stands to be among the first choice of every student in the hooghly district and 2nd in the Burdwan University. The only negative part is that this college has a very high political presence in the campus. Though the present government said that they oppose such strong political holds in colleges but still this words has not been kept.
