Remarks :

The college, in one word, has the best facilities and talking about management, it is one of the very first institutions that take proper care of the students' careers and guides them towards a better future.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The subjects are taught with proper care and very apt examples are sited on behalf of their justification. The faculties take great care and enthusiasm towards completion of the syllabus in time and have internals from time to time to nurture the topics taught in the class. The examinations are held with proper guidance and invigilators are quite strict towards any misconduct of the norms of the exam hall.

Placement Experience :

The popular old belief of getting jobs right after the completion, of course, is still widely in practice. GNIPST provides the students with all the facilities of good placement in well-known companies like CIPLA, RANBAXY, WIPRO, BAYER, ABBOTT, etc irrespective of discrimination among them.

College Events :

There is an annual sports meet as well as intercollege tournaments that help students to know their hidden talents. There is a regular practice of indoor and outdoor activities that prepares the students not only to excel in studies but also in other activities like games, music, dance, recitation, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

In present works where the money is a crucial factor for getting admission into colleges, our institute is one of the best places for admission of even the not so well-to-do families. Our institute provides all the facilities required for a student to excel in their respective fields under a very reasonable cost of money.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Although I did not opt for any scholarship or educational loans, the college has scholarship opportunities as well as educational loans.

Campus Life :

The first year of college and the rest years present a lot of new experiences, living away from home, meeting new people and managing own time. Our college provides a very good and healthy campus life for the students residing in the hostels as well as the students who journey from their home.

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors, as well as the alumni association, guide the juniors throughout their course. Be it in studies or motivating the juniors, the help rendered is inexplicable. They made the institution a better place for the new students to take admission in the college.

Admission :

Being one of the best-ranked institutions all over India, GNIPST has several courses to pursue of which pharmacy has one of the best facilities a student can get. The other courses also provide good facilities for the betterment of students. Personally, GNIPST has been my dream college to get admitted into, which made me choose this institution for my further studies.

Faculty :

The best education is not given to students, it is drawn out of them. It is the supreme at of the teachers to awaken not in creative expression and knowledge. The students of GNIPST is blessed to be under such helpful and friendly yet strict and disciplined faculty members to guide them at the crucial moments of their career. There is a system of maintenance of mentor and mentee that has further helped the students to clarify both their academic as well as personal problems and seek the perfect guidance.

One of the best pharmacy College in West Bengal

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are not that good when compared to any other private pharmacy college. However, placements are decent here. About 60% - 70% of the students get placed every year mostly in the marketing sector. But the placement rate varies every year. The average salary package offered for marketing students is Rs 16000 - 22000 per month. Overall, the college needs to improve its placement numbers.

Placement Experience:

Good placement opportunities are made available to students. Although more focus is on marketing department rather than production one, still payscale is good enough. Students are prepared to crack their placement interviews and get their dream job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum consists of both theoretical as well as practical subjects. However, practical subjects have more credits than the theoretical ones for first two years and then for next two years, its opposite. Each year consists of 2 semesters and each semester again consists of sessionals. Apart from sessionals and semester exams, a final viva exam is conducted at the end of 4th year.
