About BCDAPT
BCDA College of Pharmacy & Technology (BCDAPT) was established in 2006 by BCDA Members Benevolent Trust. It is one of the oldest organizations in the trade of medicines with more than 32,000 members all over Kolkata. The college is situated inside the modern city of Kolkata at 78 Jessore Road, Hridaypur, Barasat city and is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT), Kolkata.
BCDAPT, Barasat, West Bengal offers undergraduate courses in the field of pharmacy. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, and Pharmacy Council of India.

- Library and E-Library: The college provides a well-maintained and stocked library full of academic books, CDs / DVDs, and research papers. The library is open for 8 hours for each and every person teaching or studying in the college. At present there are 7500 books and 710 titles in the library, books are published by renowned Indian and overseas publishers and 10 National as well as 05 international journals.
- Hostels: College offers in-campus well-structured hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Separate buildings are prepared for fresher students to avoid ragging. In the hostel, full-time water, laundry, and power facility is provided.
- Laboratories: College has well-equipped laboratories to ensure that students get the latest technology with the best infrastructure facility. The college also has set up a modern computer laboratory with a terminal student ratio 1:1 each node equipped with a P-IV processor.

For lateral entry in 2nd year Bpharm you need to appear in JELET examination after completing D.pharm. You can find all information in WBJEE official website There is very few reserved seats for minorities (SC ST OBC). As a lateral student i humbly want to have more seats for lateral students.

I had applied for other colleges too through wbjee counseling process and got this college in my 3 rd council. The admission process was easy I just had to go there and produce necessary documents and pay a demand draft for semester fees and admission fees and other necessary documents. Admission cell is so helpful they take care of everything regarding admission and provides the best possible solution if someone ran into a problem.
Admission:
1. My college is situated in Kolkata, the heart of West Bengal. So, transportation is very easy. And the Placement record is very good. Almost all of the student gets the job from campus. Companies like Cipla, Sun Pharma, Dr Reddy comes on the campus. It has a very strong Alumni network. 2. The admission is purely based on the Entrance Exam, preferably WBJEE accepted. The new session generally starts in August. 3. I choose this college for some reason like good placement record, top-notch faculty from some good Pharmacy colleges, Academics is very good and this one of the best Pharmacy college in West Bengal. 4. I have used the college Dunia website while selecting this college. There is some helpful information from past students that cleared all of my doubts.
