Faculty is good here but be careful not that much favourable.

Course Curriculum Overview :

IITs are known for their rigorous and comprehensive course curriculum. The curriculum is designed to provide a strong foundation in the chosen field of Study , along with oppurtunities for practical application and research.

Class Size : 54Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

U will get Internship oppurtunities here but the thing is u must have very good CG. The Cg must me above 8 so that u will get internship. We have companies like Amazon , Google and many more here . Maintain good CG

Placement Experience :

As our college is IIT we have ample of Placement oppurtunities.The thing is to concentrate on your work and especially studies . You can learn coding if you are intetrsted . Maintain good CG which is very very important for your placements.

Fees and Financial Aid :

THe Fee structure of IIT Roorkee is 1 Lakh per annum , for 4 years. AS we know there is NSP for all Students. From college you may get Scholarship based on your academic performance . Ph.d Students here are working as Teaching Assistants in their respective Departments.

Campus Life :

We have Annual technical fest called Cognizance and cultural fest called Thomso . Students from different parts of the country participate in these fests. We have central Library in our college . We have screens in our classrooms for any ppt presentations.

Hostel Facilities :

We have 3 shared rooms for B.Tech first years and 1 sharing rooms for 3rd and 4th year Students. We have 24 hrs water and Electricity facility. Each Hostel have 24/7 Canteen facility. You will be alloted hostels during Registration for college time itself.

Hostel Fee : INR 80000 per year

Admission :

For undergraduate programs , the JEE is the common entrance exam for admissions to IITs. The exam has two stages : JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main is the first step, and based on scores , students are eligible to appear JEE Advanced , which is specifically for admission to IITs. We have Reservation benifits based on the Category we are from.repare thoroughly for JEE Mains and JEE Advanced exam as they are the toughest exams.

Placements are decent for CSE branch. But for other baranches very few companies visit on campus. Also for other branches your Cgpa should be good to be eligible for companies.If you have interest in your core branch(other than CSE) than it is better to preparing for Gate in early stage(like start preparing from 2nd year).

IT Gopeshwar: a honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is good and follows all requirements set by AICTE. It familiarise students with the practical part of branch and theoretical also to make them a good engineer. But in implementation it makes some difficulties because of lab structure the labs doesn't have proper attendent to handle it.

Worst Faculty and Hostel foods

Placement Experience:

I think from 8th semester they are eligible for campus placement. Many companies like HCL, Amazon, Tata ect have visited our college for placement. The highest package Is of 22 lpa and the average package is 4 lpa to 5 lpa . 60% of the students get placement My plan is to get a good package of around 15 lpa

The Unbiased Truth

Placement Experience:

You start sitting for internship companies in the 5th semester and for jobs in the 7th semester. The companies keep coming continuously. Big MNC's come every other month but startups keep coming every other day. The CSO keeps working till you are placed even if you are an NC student (have active backlogs). I have received an offer from HPE. There have been only 1-2 companies who came and didn't offer to any student. Highest package since Sept'24 (I am writing in Nov'24) is actually 40lpa from D.E Shaw to one student and average so far has been 5lpa.
