Nature here make the student feel stress free from many of the tension we have and the facility provided here is the best one i feel.
Games facility and the ground for the games here us very good which allows us to involve in mang other curriculum activities.

Dislikes

Construction work which is going on continuously makes us feel disconfort here and makes us feel bad
Some of un developed areas need to be devolped rapidly and the every facility for the student must be given

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course which i am going through is very good and the faculty is also very good in terms of experience and understanding. We also go through the practical knowledge and therotucal ones which plays a main role in improving our knowledge and reach our goals because every one here is with some intent and different mindsets and goals. The frequency of exams in our college is 5months i. E for the end term examination.

Class Size : 54Course Fees : INR 33333 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee policy here is according to the income of ours i. E if your income is above 5 lakhs total tution fee may reach seventy thousand per a year and we have a mess fee of fourty thousand per an year. I also applied for the scholarship which gives me the financial assistance. Our college also providea us the campus placements and the job roles nad internships and the many of the things so on

Campus Life :

Overall experience of mine in this college is very good in terms of the campus life ans focusing on the social aspects and club involvement and the infrastructure of the college. Let's start with the campus life the nature here provides the best feel. We can also involve in many of the fests competition and the games and so on.

Admission :

Entrance exam is jee joint entrance examination for the collleges like nits and i am currently graduating in national Institute of technology srinagar. On the mechanical engineering brancha nd currently in 2 nd year.we have to fill the application form in jee app in any network centrea and fee may vary for some years and the attmpts are 2 in a year. We also have reservation benifits base upon the cast and income i.e for getting college and fee remembersement respectively.finally what i say is hard work leads to selection.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is average as theory teaching is very good but at the same time practical teachings are very bad . There are hardly any tours outside the university. There should be practical teachings and teachers should make friendly environment.

All about NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in their 4th year ie. 7-8th semester. All the major recruiters like TCS, Infosys, IBM, Samsung, L&T, Lowes, GAIL, NHPC, and many Govt. PSUs visit the campus for recruitment. A product-based giant like Microsoft has also visited the campus for placement. Average Package of all the branches is around 6-7 lac and for CS/IT the avg package is 11-12 lacs. The highest package last year was of 22 lacs offered by GAIL India to a student from mechanical engineering. 3 students from CS/IT and one from ECE were offered a package of 19 lacs by Lowes India. Many students go for higher studies to top foreign Universities and some in India's top Institutes.
