Entrance Preview :
This is the best one in Tamilnadu because of its another branch of anna university. The name mitian is itself enough to gain respect in society. And of course it's affordable and for namesake. I also chose it because my career opinion is aeronautics and there is no other better college than mit in south India
Course Curriculum Overview :
Through internet and staffs. We have a separate site called aukdc to get know to know about the latest updates and notes. And we have a good library which will be open from morning from 8 to night 6 so we can refer books whenever needed. Staffs will be also available at any time during college hours.
Internships Opportunities :
Yeah, there are many companies like google and yahoo will visit our college. Anna university students will be preferred first by all the companies.
Placement Experience :
Placements and job opportunities are more likely to have for software departments like if ECE and CSC. These guys who have a sound knowledge of programming will enter many big companies that come for campus selection. Even hardware guys can attend the campus interview but must have knowledge of computer programming.
College Events :
There are a huge variety of events both technical and non-technical. We have events linked to departments in that we will conduct events like drone racing coding hackathons etc. All the events will be inter-colleges. Nontechnical events like sivaranjini mitafest home fest are also celebrated.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It's absolutely feasible. For day scholars it is 8000 for an odd semester and 7000 for even. And for the hostel, we have to pay 25000 for odd and 22000 for even semesters. And the fee structure depends on the quota the student is in, whether NRI or general. Nri fee cost around 5 lakh per year.
Campus Life :
No gender ratio is there at mit. We guys used to roam the campus united. No body minds that. Even people from Africa are here for education. There is no discrimination between the girl and boy child in any fields. All are same only thing required her is knowledge and interest for engineering
Hostel Facilities :
Food will be very tasty like what we have in the home. Veg and non-veg facilities are available. In non-veg, we get chicken eggs and fish. Eggs will be available daily. 3 times a day we get tea coffee and milk. Hostel and mess area will be maintained very hygienically.
Alumni/Alumna :
The alumni network is so strong. Alumnus provides us with scholarships. There will be meetings every year with our alumnus.
Exam Structure :
Exam structure will be very lenient. We will be having two assessment exams for 50 marks each semester. Assessments were there to take for our internal 50. The rest 50 will be made from our final exams. Final exam will be for 100 marks. It will be made half to add for the internal
Admission :
I got it because of my 12th mark. I got 197.75 cut off mark. A cutoff of 197 to 200 ll do for mit. Student have to register in thea admission and they ll be getting mails for counselling eligible students ll get mit. At the time of counselling one have to select mit if needed. But only 60 seats per department will be available
Faculty :
We may access them whenever we need they 'll be very lenient and helpful. All the professors where highly qualified and Ph.D. holders. They 'll be available for help whenever needed. Faculties here will guide us like there own children and treat us in our ups and downs.
