Remarks :

It mostly depands upon the State board exam cutoff, and you have to apply through online counseling that is TNEA and reservation benifit is also there and admission process is quite easy and good and the fee structure are less here.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I got this course through counseling and the faculty : student ratio is good and I don't want to comment on the qualifications of the faculty and here the advantage is we can schedule our own time table for assessment and end semester exams were quite tough.( Online exams not applicable:)

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 30000 per year

Placement Experience :

The placement percentage not only depands upon college but also depends on which department you are. Companies like TCS, CTS, WIPRO will allow all the branch students to participate in the online test and avg package here is 600000 per annum.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Here the fee structure is less because it's a government college which directly comes under anna university ( 30000 per year) and for first graduate students the tution fee ( 7500 per semester) will be waived off and based upon your performance on schooling and in college exams you may get scholarships.

Campus Life :

There will be two annual fest and tech fest will be conducted by each department and Availability of books & journals in the library is good and there so maymny groups, clubs in which you can join depands upon your interest.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
