Nice Location similar distance from bhubaneswar and cuttack and away from city crowd nice canteen newly built infrastructure gives an opportunity to use good and new products computer lab was good with HP compaq computers all new good architecture of buil

Entrance Preview :

OJEE (Odisha Joint Entrance Examination) Joined Electronics and Communication in 2001, this was a NRI managed college and recently opened in 2000, which had nice new building under construction and good classroom visited the campus before joining college since it was managed by NRI's thought management would good and would work per plan for completion and setup of infrastructure the proprietor of college had a good reputation of being not very profit oriented,

Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose electronics and communication and curriculum was as per AICTE approval/standards and as per BPUT (formerly under Utkal University) first 1 year would be revising +2 or 12th standard studies with little advanced curriculum 2nd year starts with real engineering studies as per your branch or trade of study.

Internships Opportunities :

No Internship provided by college .

Placement Experience :

Few companies came for on campus 2-3 do not remember the names, not major ones later almost all joined in off campus (90%).

College Events :

Nice annual function celebrated during end of year winter other sports activity football held in nearby playgrounds annual sports also held in winter apart from this enjoyed a lot time in canteen and near by dhaaba some computer education programs held by third party organization like hp self improvement classes were given by management to build for campus recruitment.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

During 2001 - 2006 it was Rs 25000 per year, later increased it is at par with other institutes mostly feasible at the time (2001- 2006) with few hardship including hostel it would be 70000-80000/year 10 years ago.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No loan facility offered by college check directly with banks for educational loans and repayment options.

Hostel Facilities :

Not stayed in hostel ever during my period of study there were no Hostel building inside the campus later they built 2 separate hostels boys and girls had visited the place later looks to be having nice featured hostel.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

You can find so many Facebook groups or pages to find alumni network based on year of study or common group Search for east or easter academy of science and Technology in facebook.

Faculty :

Few faculties are really experienced and know how to take control of classroom many lecturers were new to the colleges and being mentored by old experienced faculties.

Students are eligible for the campus in the 6th semester. Top Indian companies like Infosys, Accenture, Wipro, Jindal, Tata Steel, and many more came for the campus. The highest package was 9 lakhs made by Tata Steel. 99% of students got placed. I had 3 jobs.

Average college within the state at affordable cost and prosperous future

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course because at that time I was keenly interested in Engineering drawings, architecture, construction as well as estimations and costing. Here the faculty-student ratio is approx 1:18. Almost 1/3rd of the faculty are permanent and have a doctorate and they are well experienced. Guest faculties are also from prestigious colleges holding masters and bachelors. Examinations were conducted regularly in class as well as there used to be 2 internals in a sem and one end sem exam. Questions were set by the BPUT and it was moderate to difficult level.

College claims to provide 100% placements to its students, Students from the 7th semester can sit in placements. Many big companies come to recruit on campus every year like Amazon, Dell, Accenture, Wipro, cognizant. The HIghest package was Rs 39lpa by amazon. Honest College Review

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester onwards. Companies like Ajatus, Byjus, Wipro , Infosys offer placement opportunities in our college. The placement rate has deteriorated over the past 5 years. Earlier 50 %-80%students were placed but now only 20%-30%are placed. Earlier the highest package was 10 LPA and the average package was 4LPA. Now the rate has decreased greatly. The college still tries its best to bring companies. Earlier the placements were more of on-campus placements but now it's mostly off campus. The training and placement cell hence prepares students for the recruitment process and selects the best students and gets them placed. After getting the degree I would be applying for interviews on the technical line off-campus and side by side I would do my higher studies like M.TECH.
