Course Curriculum Overview :

I feel like the curriculum is very vast and covers all the fields and topics of CSE broadly. However, in-depth knowledge for real-world applications or further academic pursuits is not provided and needs to be studied by oneself or online, which is understandable keeping in mind that vast fields of interests fall under the umbrella term of the CSE branch.

Internships Opportunities :

There's an Industrial Research Projects Council that contacts the industries for real-time summer and winter internship projects. This is in addition to the campus internships. There are various companies that provide internships like Infosys, Puma, Adani, etc. The stipends range from 20K to 100K INR per month.

Placement Experience :

The students become elibigle for internships from 5th semester and for placements from 7th semester. Almost 90% of the people who apply for placements get a job. The highest package is of 72 Lakhs CTC, while the average package is 10-11 Lakhs per annum. I, however, plan to pursue higher studies (M.Tech) after completing my degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tution fee for each semester is 1,00,000, which other charges including hostel, mess and laundry facilities take the entire fee for one semester to 1.5 Lakhs approximately. For 4 years, this results in a total fee of about 12 Lakhs INR. There are numerous scholarships and financial aid available for students (Not many for General Category though), while OCeos provide a hourly stipend of 150 INR.

Campus Life :

My overall experience has been good altogether. The annual Technical Summit Amalthea(Oct-Nov) and the annual Cultural Fest Blithchron(Feb-Mar) are really enjoyable. The libraray here is one of the biggest ones in India and contains extensive collection of books and journals. Our campus has the largest Sports Complex in India, and hence sports opportunities are plenty with proper resources available.

Hostel Facilities :

The rooms are provived with single, double or triple sharing based on availibility and request. The overall condition of the hostels are good, they are very well-maintained with regular cleaning. The washrooms are also very hygienic. The mess serves okay-ish quality of food, however, the menu is quite good and extensively covers all types of food.

Admission :

The admission process required us to take the JEE Entrance test, both Mains and Advance. JEE is considered to be one of the toughest exams all over the world, and hence selection into the college is pretty tough than normal. The cut-off was to score a rank of 1200-2000 for the CSE branch. There is an NTA JOOSA Counseling round that takes care of the admission process to all the IITs, NITs, and IIITs all over India. Application dates for JEE Mains are from around November, while the exam dates are January-February.

As of last year, most of the students who applied for campus placement got placed but with an average ctc of rs 5 lakh/annum. The companies visited include Adani Port, Adani gas, Torrent Power, and other companies. The highest package was rs 15 lakh.
