Remarks :

The college has got the best director any college would ever hope to get. The visions of our director are what bringing our college to newer heights.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very much relevant and research-oriented, however, it lacks to impart industry-specific knowledge. However, most of the students learn the relevant skills required through internships, or some online courses o such. Industrial visits are not frequent in our branch, however, it is common in some of the other branches.

Placement Experience :

Barclays, Goldman Sachs, D.E. Shaw, Nutanix are some of the biggest companies which visit the campus regularly for internships and placement drives. The tentative percentage of students placed is around 80%. There is a Professional Development Council, run by the students, and Career Development Services, run by the institution, which works together for the cause.

College Events :

There are two Technical Events, Amalthea (Technical Summit) and Ignite(Technical Fest organized every year) which have about 1000-2000 participants and visitors. The cultural event Blithchron has about 3000-5000 visitors. While the intra-college and ITER college sports fest have also great participation.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees are expensive when you compare them with other institutions in India. However, if you take account of its premium status, the fees look feasible to me. No, there are no additional charges that are to be paid to secure the admission, and the fee structure is very transparent and available readily on the internet.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No, I haven't applied for any scholarship or education loan. No, I haven't applied for any scholarship or education loan.

Campus Life :

The gender ratio is a very big problem in the engineering field. We have a gender ratio of 12:1 in our batch. As there are people coming over from all parts of India, diversity is not an issue on our campus. Workshops regarding communication skills, technical skills are very frequently organized. Student parties are also organized about twice a year.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, the hostel rooms are very good as it is a comparatively new institution. There is adequate space in each room, which is generally hard to find in hostels. The sharing is dependent on the year in which you are, and also your personal preferences to some extent.

Alumni/Alumna :

The Alumni network is not as large compared to other colleges, however, the alumni are very nice. They have helped a lot of people with their internships and also helped to make a good profile for higher studies. They have been a lot more helpful than someone would have expected.

Admission :

IITs have the simplest procedure for admission. Lakhs of students appear for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE), and out of that, about 10,000 are selected for all the IITs, out of which I got 1561 rank, and I got the admission over here, at Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar. Once, the merit list comes out, we all have to give preference of college and branch, and by the merit list, the preferences are served.

Faculty :

On average, there are about 3 lectures of each course every week, and we have generally around 6-7 courses every semester. The average age of our faculty would be around 35 years, and there is a minimum qualification requirement for every faculty which is a doctorate. Most of the faculty are research-oriented, but there are few faculties that are highly involved in the industry.
