Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness I get Mining engineering course in this college..the curriculum is good & excellent& have good teaching methods to learn. the frequency and timing of the exam is Good

Class Size : 55Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship like global Microsoft companies and also need the good knowledge to get placements.there are so many projects.and so many companies also available.only need to do hard work.it clarify the best of regards.

Placement Experience :

The placements of our college is very high level while compare to other college.there are so many companies and also have a more benifits to made it.the bigest package is1200000.they are more than 80% of students getting the placements.ginally have best degree certificate in the college.

Fees and Financial Aid :

I can provide the college have available of financial Assistance. fees structure is very high for OBC students but the hostel and mess have more than 50k rupees for sem. campus employment have undertaken including job rules

Campus Life :

The campus is nice & excellence and also have a technical festival along with spcl months.in library range and accessibility of books and journals available. facilities are more and also technological provision with classrooms.

Hostel Facilities :

The room was nice but actually, hostel is good. The food menu is very nice good healthy food with lots of nutrients..the registration process for hostel is coming under the website. actually, I paid the hostel & message fees.

Hostel Fee : INR 74000 per year

Admission :

I written the jeemains entrance test lucky I got seat in Nitk Surathkal. I find the application form in website. fees was 500 rupees for st students.i am belongs to st category.the application process is nice so finally I agreed this process.

A Brief Review of My College (New Horizon College of Engineering)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our college (NHCE) is affiliated to VTU but it's autonomous college. I like mechanical engineering and my father is also a mechanical engineer which inspired me to mechanical engineering. It is a bit outdated, expect more applications of the concepts. As I said we have exams every month, the frequency is good and the difficulty of exams I mid to easy range.

Experience at new horizon.

Placement Experience:

From 4th semester onwards students are eligible for the placement. Alots of companies like VISA,IBM,Accenture etc2 visited our college. The highest package recorded as of 2023 was from VISA offering 32.2 lakhs. 90 percent of the students get placed. After I get my degree I will work for awhile in the corporate world and starting up my own business on the side.

Placement Experience:

Many top MNC's come to the college. Recently the placement opportunities has increased when compared to our batchs.Companies like TCS, Wipro, IBM, Infosys, SLK, Mphasis etc had given us the opportunity. The average package offer was 3.5lpa or 4lpa. The highest package known to me was 10lpa for a CS student not for us. The placements begins either at the end of 6th sem or in the beginning of 7th sem. Almost 60-70% of us were placed by the end of graduation but due to recession the onboarding was very late. Waited for more than a year to get onboarded.
