Course Curriculum Overview :

My Personall interests are in technical fiels so I've decided to choose for the electrical engineering. My curriculum includes Applications of the Semiconductors, Communication Skills, Vastu SHashtra as additional Subject, Understanding how satelites works, robotics, ELectronic Devices like BJT, MOSFET and Corcuit analysis. Areas to be impoved: more practicals should be introduced in the cources. actually papers are hard. frequency of exams twice a semester: Mid-Term Examination & End-Term Examination.

Internships Opportunities :

IIT Roorkee has launched SPARK Internship opportunities for UG Students, summer internship by iHUB, also companies like google, microsoft, texas hires interns from IIT Roorkee and many companies also provides PPO (Pre Placement Offer) for 3rd year interns.

Placement Experience :

the campus placemens are good having around average package of 25LPA for the Electrical Engineering offered by Major recruiters included Accenture JApan, Bajaj, Flipkart,Tata, Google,Microsoft, Qualcomm India, Texas, American Express. for 2023 the highest CTC stood at INR 1.3 Cr and highest International Package 1.06CR. Total number of Job Offers: 500 Total number of Recruiter: 63

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

fees structure: nearly 1.4L per semster for Gen/OBC(1L tution fee). 40k per semester for SC/ST. 2/3rd tution fees waiver for the students have annual income less than 5LPA. 100% tution fee waiver for the student having family income less than 1LPA. nearly 1k per year increases. Campus Life :

Overall College Experience is very awesome. Technical Fest: Cognizance-March, Cultural Fest: Thomso-October, E-Summit- February, Social Fest: Social Summit-February. All the type of books are availabe in the library including technical to novels, dramatics,fashion, physics, mathematics, phd. Sports includes Volleyball, Badminton, Football, Cricket, Chess, every type of sports indoor and outdoor are available. alsothere is annual sports meet in different different IITs. Many Clubs are available for Robotics, Web Dev, Sports, AI, ML, Designing, Mobile & Game Dev, Competative Coding, Dramatics, Choreo, Cinema, Photography, Singing, Comedy.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 8 hostels 3 for girls and 5 for boys. Separately for different year students, Like for the first year we've Rajendra Bhawan having Single, Double, Triple Rooms. Meals are very good with more than 6 variety of food for the breakfast, around 5 for lunch and dinnner. good quality food rated 5 by fssai. Registration process for the hostel is combined with the College Admission.

Hostel Fee : INR 45000 per year

Admission :

First I've appeared for the jee mains then jee advanced. after qualifying both I've alloted a rank then filled the choices in josaa plateform according to my preference then given best top most a seat as per my rank in jee advanced. eligiibilities: minimum 75% with PCM, JEE Mains and JEE Advanced Qualified. Fees: JoSAA Councelling fees 20k, Admission fees 39K for SC, 1.39L for OBC & GEN. seats are reserved for SC & ST , OBC as per norms. JEE Advanced held once in a year & JEE Mains twice in a year.

Honest review on GBPUAT

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for Placement is semester 7 and 8 which is 4th year. A number of companies visit the campus including HCL foundation, ICICI Bank, Mother Dairy, Godrej agrovet Ltd. Etc. I myself am thinking of going into research field so i'll have to do further studies in the same field.

The placement shows quantity but not quality, in my batch 60-70% students were placed with a highest package of 5lakh per annum and minimum package of 2.4 lakh. As per fees of college the average package seems low.

This college has quite good placements for CS students. The average package of the college is 7 lpa which is quite decent. Last year the highest package offered was of 68 lpa at Palo Alto. Remarks:

I chose this college women institute of technology which is in Dehradun because it is the only government College which is for girls and it gives them technical knowledge. The college is funded by many government schemes which are very beneficial for us. We have different seminars winners from course in other things also to increase our soft skills as well as other skills. Hair in my 4 year experience I have learnt a lot a lot of things. We get free coaching for MTech i.e GATE classes and other employability training programs and that too free of cost.
