Course Curriculum Overview :

I was interested in mechanics which became the reason I chose this course . The curriculum focuses more on practical part rather than theoretical thereby preparing us for practical applications. Improvement in course curriculum , in my opinion can be made by making use of old school type teaching rather than switching to modern method . The frequency of exams is ok in my opinion

Class Size : 150Course Fees : INR 1200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships offers were quite high ranging from 50000 to 450000 . Almost everyone got an internship . There were quite many companies came to take interns. Research internships are also available. Accenture, Boston consulting etc.

Placement Experience :

Students' are eligible for placements from 7th semester. Number of offers made were around 990 and some major companies that visited were Accenture, Boston Consulting Group , Google ,Amazon , HUL , ITC , JLR etc .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, there is an option called fee waiver. This reduces the tution fee to 1/3rd for those whose income is less than 5 lakh. And those who are academically good can avail full fee refund by a scheme known as Merit cum means . One really awesome thing about this campus is that the professors here provide paid research internships upto 30000 and on campus internships are always there if you want campus employment. Companies hire for many roles including software developer machine learning engineer , consultants etc.

Campus Life :

Annual cultural festival held is Thomso and annual technical fest is named cognizance. Every book is available in addition to various journals access such as Scopus . Every year inter IIT tech meet is there and sangram our annual sports festival. The college is full of clubs that help in each part of students' life and helps in relationship building. Some major groups are ASME , Team knoxx , RMS(Roorkee Motor Sports )

Admission :

The admission process was quite easy. Happened in a single day within few hours. But we had to wait in long lines to get our work done and the lines for the hostel were also quite long . We had to give JEE Advanced to get admitted. The application form was released by JOSAA which can be found on their official website. Exams are held twice every semester. The course curriculum is very diverse and dynamic. The professors are also really knowledgeable in their domain .some areas in which admission process can improve is that they can do admission for each branch seperately on seperate days to avoid long queues

Placement is good in BTECH CSE .. As 70 % students are placed in Btech CSE 2024 . From 7 semester students btech are eligible for Placements round and many companies visit our campus like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe.. and the highest package was 52 lpa and average package is 6 lpa .. Many talented students got 50 lpa and above from top companies. ( MANG).

Honest review on GBPUAT

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for Placement is semester 7 and 8 which is 4th year. A number of companies visit the campus including HCL foundation, ICICI Bank, Mother Dairy, Godrej agrovet Ltd. Etc. I myself am thinking of going into research field so i'll have to do further studies in the same field.

Placement Experience:

The placement shows quantity but not quality, in my batch 60-70% students were placed with a highest package of 5lakh per annum and minimum package of 2.4 lakh. As per fees of college the average package seems low.

Placement Experience:

This college has quite good placements for CS students. The average package of the college is 7 lpa which is quite decent. Last year the highest package offered was of 68 lpa at Palo Alto. The eligibility for sitting in placements are : - you should have a CGPA of 7 or above. - you are allowed to sit in placements from 7 semester.

Remarks:

I chose this college women institute of technology which is in Dehradun because it is the only government College which is for girls and it gives them technical knowledge. The college is funded by many government schemes which are very beneficial for us. We have different seminars winners from course in other things also to increase our soft skills as well as other skills. Hair in my 4 year experience I have learnt a lot a lot of things. We get free coaching for MTech i.e GATE classes and other employability training programs and that too free of cost.
