Course Curriculum Overview :

I took this course because I'm interested in electronics and stuff. So I wanted to pursue a degree in Electronics and communication engineering. the faculty here are very good and highly qualified. The gap between exams are about 2 months

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 150000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Lot of opportunities are there for internships and the roles like web developer, app developer, technical and management roles are offered by the companies and the projects differs from role to role and person to person

Placement Experience :

Student from semester seven can sit for placement in our college. Companies like Oracle, Bajaj etc visited our college. The highest package was around 60Lakhs and the average is around 12 lakhs Around 60- 70 percentage of students are getting placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For a particular batch there is no fee hike policy. But between two batches, there is a fee hike of around 5-10 thousand per semester. I didn't get any scholarship in my college but lot of people got scholarship benefits

Campus Life :

There are two fests, one is technical and other cultural. Technical one is tathva and cultural one is ragam. There is big Library for books. Amenities like benches, projector etc are provided in class. Sports are highly encouraged in our institution

Hostel Facilities :

Facilities like fan, beds, cupboards and water filter near rooms and washroom are provided. The mess is not that bad but depends on the student's taste. But for me I didn't like it much. The reg process is through hostels app

Hostel Fee : INR 66000 per year

Admission :

The admission is through jee mains exar after qualifying we have to participate in josaa or csab counselling to get into our college or any other NIT. There are lot of reservation benefits, like caste and economical

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
