  • The college has a really small campus and sports facilities are really limited.
  • Unavailability of hostel is such a let down, and you miss the on-campus life you could have lived.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is at par with any other good PGDM/MBA college out there, and the faculties are good too, with most of them holding a Phd in their respective fields. Some of the faculties are alumni of IIM/IIT as well. This is a good college overall if you have the option to choose in a tier two college, especially around Delhi NCR region, marketing is the best specialization to pursue here. The faculty: student ratio is good and a class has 60 students only, which is good for interaction and overall grasping, while some of the faculties might bore you, but most of the faculties are great. Coming to exams, it's always exam session with end term in four months each and mid term in two months each, it's the most hectic time as there might be two or more exams in a single day, but being here you know how to deal with it.

Internships Opportunities :

While in the first trimester itself, you are given an option to choose your specialization and you are able to sit for summers according to the roles offered by the companies. You are likely to get an internship before the end of third trimester, before the summers break. A plenty of companies ranging from Big 4's to commercial banks to textile companies offer internships. The internship ranges from 15-20k to 70-80k and more.

Placement Experience :

Placement provided by the college is Excellent and there's almost 100% placement with average CTC ranging around 16 lacs as of now. Coming to summers, you can expect companies to come to the campus while you are in first semester itself, and most of the students get good internships as well. Almost all good companies, ranging from Axis Bank ,BMW, Gartner, Vanguard etc, coming to the campus. While most of the companies prefer PGDM students first and you are allowed to apply for your companies according to your specialization.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fees is around 18 lacs with, 4 installments, i.e two installments each year. First intallment is usually a little more as it includes one time registration fees and other such charges, other three instalments are similiar. The fee is on a little higher side, and it recently saw a hike or around 10%. Although scholarship is available, but it's difficult to get one, there's merit based scholarship and domicile based scholarship as well for students of North East and JK & Ladakkh. The campus does assist with you summer placements and finals as well, so no worries on that side.

Campus Life :

Campus Life is not exactly the pro of this college, it has a really small campus with other colleges like IIFT and IMI in its close vicinity. Campus lacks even basic amenities like a playground, proper sports equipments and sports activities are really limited. Other than that, the infrastructure is nice and well customised, most of the classrooms are good with all necessary amenities. The Campus fest 'Genesis' usually happens around October - November its a nice 2 days gateway for fun, other than that other cultural activities like, Garba nights and Independence day, for example is performed. The library is really small, but it has plenty of books and study materials for your need and you can get it issued easily as per your needs. There are a lot of clubs and social groups in the college, ranging from A to Z, and you have a plethora of options to choose from and grow and learn as an individual.

Hostel Facilities :

FORE doesn't have a hostel of its own and the hostel they provide, is owned by FORE are on the lease basis. But the hostel is overall good, with all the basic needs such as bed, study desk, Air Conditioner, Geyser etc provided. The food is okayish in the hostel. While living in the hostel has its pros, most of the people stay outside in the nearby areas like Katwaria or Adchini due to small number of seats availability in the hostel.

Admission :

The admission is then done on the basis of overall total, CAT/XAT has the weightage of 35% in the final selection, while PI also clocks around 35%. The eligibility to apply for course is a graduation in any field with 50% or more and a valid CAT/XAT score. The application process is online with forms starting before CAT exam and lasts usually till 31st of January. For applying in one course, you'll be charged 1500, with 18% GST and there is a total of 4 courses you can apply too. The admission process was nice overall and it was hassle-free.

Interview Experience :

I took admission through XAT, college accepts CAT/XAT as it's admission criteria and then you are shortlisted on the basis of that. Post shortlisting, you have to take part in Personal Interview, Extempore and Business Awareness Quiz. Interview questions were mostly from my graduation subjects and some of them were about my university and cities I have lived, but it depends largely on how you introduce yourself and lead you give them. And my Extempore was on a Current affairs topic. After shortlisting via CAT/XAT, if you'll ace your interview and extempore, you'll have much edge, as it plays the maximum role in your conversion. For preparations of Interview and Extempore, work on general questions, your background and current affairs. It should be a cake walk, if you're thorough with your answers.

Placement Experience:

Placement of the colleges is very nice after the internship gap after that we have semester 3 and while we are in semester 3 the companies start approaching us domain wise so if one is into marketing they will have so many options and is there into operations we have very few companies so it's a thing in the college but if you are someone who isn't place the college will take care all though they provide enough companies like in internship in my batch we had around 40 companies and I feel like in the placement they also help a lot

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am a MBA student. I wanted to do it for my own father's company. But I've faced a lot of issues in my 1 sem. Also i would like to tell about the teacher of QT because of her i got a back in my exams. Improvements are surely required because most of the students fail in QT. I've asked from my seniors too there is no management for this subject. Also the exam level was high because we didn't knew what even the syllabus was

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for final placements in third semester and summer placements in the first semester itself. We have many big names here in the campus JP Morgan Chase and Co, Morgan Stanley, AON, ICICI Bank, Atomberg, Hindalco, Deloitte, KPIT, Samsung, etc. Almost all the students get placed here. I'd the percentage is above 90. The highest placement offered was 26LAC+ and the average stood at 14lacs. I am currently intern at a company via the college placements and am working towards getting a PPO. If I get one, I plan on staying in the same company.

Placement Experience:

College offers its students placements which makes them give a loud shout-out. Although the placement process is hair-raising, the results are out of the league when compared to the rest of B-schools. Please check the placement report in detail from our website, because my words won't be able to do justice to the results we have.

Remarks:

My experience with the USMS IPU institute was pretty exceptional. I would definitely recommend this institute for whosoever is looking to pursue a master's degree in the region. Admissions are on the basis of the entrance exam organized by the university, itself. Infrastructure is world-class and everyone is pretty supportive here.
