Review - FORE School of Management

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is as per the aicte guidelines and hence is same to most of the Tier 1 colleges like IIM'S or FMS, and as this is a MBA college so obviously one doesn't expect a chilled life as this is the phase that will shape your career and plays a major role for your future. We have a trimester system so yes we have exams every alternate month and we have internals, quizzes, ppts which improve our basic skills.

Placement Experience :

The placement and job opportunities are present in abundance in our college. There are a lot of companies who visit college for both the summer internships as well as the final placements where the package and stipend differs from company to company as well as it depends on the previous experience of an individual.

College Events :

There are various cultural, sports & curriculum based events that takes place in our college from time to time all over the year. Our annual fest being the biggest of it all as it have a plethora of events that covers all kinds of events be it dance, nukkad natak or be it case studies judged by professionals from the industries which helps in the overall growth of the student.

Hostel Facilities :

I haven't opted for the hostel however i have been there as some of my friends are staying there and talking about the infrastructure and facilities i would say that it does have all the basic amenities that a hostel should offer.

Admission :

So to get admission in this college we have to give CAT or XAT entrance exam and then the college minimum percentile is defined and people who clear that cutoff are further called for the baq & pi process. After the result students are asked to confirm there admission.

Faculty :

The faculty of our college is pretty decent. We have professors who are high on experience both in terms of industry experience as well as teaching experience. They are well qualified professionals from top colleges around the world be it Harvard or an IIM or an IIT, we have a rich and diversified pool of professors who are high on knowledge which is a plus for students.

Placement Experience:

You're eligible for the campus placement from semester 3. I got a placement in a few companies like policy bazaar and Barclays but the salary is quite low offered by the companies. I opted for none of these companies and interviewed for many companies after completing my degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose to do MBA as I did Bachelor's in business management from the same college and the next best alternative for me was to do a master's in the same field as it will give me enough good opportunities and specialization in the marketing field which I always wanted to pursue too. Most of the teachers are Ph.D. scholars and have great experience and knowledge. Though the teaching style of every teacher differs from one another. There is a total of 3 CES, 2 internals, and 1 external for each subject and we have 5 subjects in total.

In this MBA course, the placements range from 3.5 L to 11L. The average is 6-7L which is a very good ROI for the price you pay. There are many renowned companies which come for the placements so you just have to give your best and you will get a good package.

Placement Experience:

Placement system is not like getting placement in a week time i.e. there is no concept of placement week here. But companies keep on coming throughout the year. Students generally get placed by the month of February. A number of companies like HUL, Bajaj, Wipro, TATA, ICICI, HDFC, etc visit the campus to recruit students. The package can go as high as 24 lacs for few companies, while the average is 10 lac generally.

Remarks:

Delhi school of economics(DSE) is one of the best B schools in Delhi. We compete with B schools such as imt Ghaziabad and few baby IIMS. The faculties are amazing and the college is located close to my home. Placements are consistent, averaging at around 11 lakhs.

The placement and jobs opportunity are average. In our college the companies are coming like giving average packages 4 to 5 lakhs. This is an average college. And the SIPs like only sales profile are coming. You have to sale like insurance, debit card credit card stock. You have to call some other people like cold calling etc. The stipend is performance based. 1000 or Max to Max 6000.
