Course Curriculum Overview :

I choose this course because I had passion and likeness for coding domain and wanted to build career in it. 1 :70 faculty to student ratio. Mostly all faculties have phg degree from reputed college and university and use new hybrid teaching techniques including online practice too. The term exams were moderate level and was easily passable but to get Good marks is tough

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 606000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys,Wipro, Accenture ,Cognizant . These had internship opportunities, given to us ,with stipend of 6-12k per month . Smart Home Automation System , Discord clone , hotel online website, Automatic Health monitoring machine ,are some internship projects made here.

Placement Experience :

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placement.Many companies visited our college like TCS , Capgemini, cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, lab vantage , tech Mahindra, PWC , Deloitte , etc and. Made offers for mass people like 50-100 . Highest package offered for BTech in our college was 12 lpa by lab vantage and average package of our college is 4.5 lpa CTC . Nearly 84% students got placed this year . I too have plan of getting good campus placement opportunities during my final year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

College fees is subject to increase as per university guidelines and norms , my cost to study is 606000. I didn't get any scholarship but got financial assistance through west bengal student credit card and hope to get on campus jobs when I will be in 3rd and 4th year

Campus Life :

Tech fest name - Horizon, Cultural fest name - Zeal , both are conducted in January month. All types of books are available in Library in plenty number. Classrooms have enough desks , light , fan ,table and chairs for teacher, blackboard, etc. sports like cricket, football, chess , Ludo , basketball, kabaddi, badminton etc are organised in college. Clubs here are cyber security club , Google developer club , music club , ACM club , robotrix club , etc

Admission :

Admission process was smoothly done but very lengthy through WBJEE counseling which has 2 rounds and 1 mop up round , Eligibility criteria of my course was 10+2 from any recognised board with at least 50 % marks in English and 40% overall in Higher secondary examination and through the WBJEE GMR ie. General merit rank . I didn't avail any reservation as I am from general category. Yes WBJEE can conduct the counseling within 1 week after release of result so that session can start early

Overall a Standard College; have parallels to its parent college FIEM

Placement Experience:

At the end of the 6th Semester many MNCs and startups like CTS, TCS, Virtusa, Wipro, etc visit our campus for internship opportunities as well as pre-placement offers. Most of the students do crack some or other internship opportunities and get in-hand industry experience. For our batch the highest offer we received is 7LPA and the average package ranges at about 4.5 - 3.5LPA ! Almost everyone does get placed, but the average ranges at about 70%-80%.
