Remarks :

I chose this college because one of my relatives had studied here and now she is in a very good company. I referred collegedunia, shiksha.com to check the ratings and reviews about the college. This college has everything what a student needs whether it be academics or extra curricular activities and of course the placement is very good. This college assures 100% ragging free campus. The infrastructure the labs and auditoriums are very well equipped. So, if anyone is thinking of joining this college, he/she should go for it. Also, this college received award for excellence in education last year.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was always interested in computers, the way they work and the beauty of various programming language, the new emerging technologies always inspired me. This was the main reason why I chose this branch with B.Tech. Here the faculties are very friendly in nature and always ready to help. Faculties of all the departments are well qualified and even some of them are Phd holders from NITs. Teaching method is two-way where teachers and students communicate and interact with each other which makes it easy to learn and understand. Semester exams are held in december and may. The exams are not much difficult and if one studies properly and covers all that is taught in the class then definitely one can score good marks.

Placement Experience :

The students just after completing their sixth semester are eligible for the placements. Various companies visit here like Capgemini(Analyst), Wipro(Project Engineer), Cognizant(Programmer Analyst), Genpact, Byjus(BPO or BDA), Extramarks Education pvt. ltd, L & T constructions etc. Highest package was offered by Byjus which was 9 lakhs pa and the average was 420000 lakhs pa. 90% of the students in every department got placed in all the companies that visited the campus. After completing my graduation I want to work in a well reputed MNC.

College Events :

Tech fest and annual fest(cultural fest) is organized in the month of february and april(may vary) respectively. There is a wide variety of books, magazines, journals etc in the library, if anyone is a book lover then definitely he/she can enjoy reading them. Sports day is held each year where students as well as teachers participate which is very interesting to see. There are various clubs such as the sports club, cultural club, rotary club, karate group and 2-3 coding clubs run by the college students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are two types of scholarships one is the tuition fee wavier scheme which is available for the economically backward students(only for engineering students of UG level) and given based on their merits and their rank in WBJEE, and the other is West Bengal Financial Scheme which is also for the economically backward students who at good at studies and the selection of the students is done by the college based on their merits.

Campus Life :

The library is two-storey separate building where ground floor is used by the students to sit and study and the first floor is used if any student wants to issue any books. All the labs are air- conditioned(except the chemistry, physics, mechanical and electrical labs)and well equipped and are provided with wide variety of tools and equipments whether it be chemistry lab, computer lab or physics lab.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 5 hostels in total; 3 for boys and 2 girls. In each room there is accomodation for 4 students. There are 4 beds, 2 lights, 2 fans, 4 study tables and chairs for each and 4 cupboards. A fixed menu for each day and delicious meals like chicken, manchurian, pav bhaji, sandwich etc. If someone wants to opt for the hostel then at the time of admission they are asked to fill a separate form for the hostel and it is affordable. Good security in both girls and boys hostel is provided as well. Wifi is available for all the hostels.

Very appropriate college for all kind of students !! I recommend it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

B.Tech in CSE is future proof and a very good course for IT sector jobs and I was always excited working in these companies, that's why I choose the course. There are 10-12 faculties present in every department. Each faculty is M.Tech qualified and Drs. Their teaching quality is very good. 4 internal theory and 2 Lab exams happen each semester. The questions are standard, regular, and sincere students can easily pass.

Remarks:
