Campus is very beautiful and the live here is quite good

Rooms : Rooms here are mot as good as they should be
Mess : Mess food is not always good ,sometimes they reduce the quality

Course Curriculum Overview :

It was the best course i was getting for my rank and i was kind of attracted to it so i choose it . Faculty is good here and understanding but the student ration is not as good as it should be here.Exams are taken timely and are of a good level

Class Size : 28Course Fees : INR 300000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internship opportunities are good here and even PPO are received if we perform good. various companies come for internships and placements . for GT the main companies are ONGC , Vedanta oil and gas etc .

Placement Experience :

The placement scenario is good in IIT Roorkee and manby huge companies come for hiring students. Internships are also offered based on the skills of students and theirGrade points scored by them in the semester exams

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

fee is a bit high for a middle class family but the scholarship opportunities are quite good here .Based on Financial background and also on performance one can get scholarship easily here .Various scholarship are there namely MCM etc.

Campus Life :

Life at IIT is good and a dream life .There are many fests held annualy and they are great and i enjoy them a lot .Books and the library is also superb . Classrooms are kind of old school using old projectors which are quite blurry and not good

Admission :

I was selected through Jee Advanced and the cut-off for our branch was about 10k rank in the open category. I cleared Jee Mains and was eligible for advanced so I sat for Jee Advanced and cleared it successfully with almost rank of about 10k and was eligible for IIT Roorkee

Many talented students got 50 lpa and above from top companies. ( MANG).

Honest review on GBPUAT

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for Placement is semester 7 and 8 which is 4th year. A number of companies visit the campus including HCL foundation, ICICI Bank, Mother Dairy, Godrej agrovet Ltd. Etc. I myself am thinking of going into research field so i'll have to do further studies in the same field.

Placement Experience:

The placement shows quantity but not quality, in my batch 60-70% students were placed with a highest package of 5lakh per annum and minimum package of 2.4 lakh. As per fees of college the average package seems low.

Placement Experience:

This college has quite good placements for CS students. The average package of the college is 7 lpa which is quite decent. Last year the highest package offered was of 68 lpa at Palo Alto. The eligibility for sitting in placements are : - you should have a CGPA of 7 or above. - you are allowed to sit in placements from 7 semester.

Remarks:

I chose this college women institute of technology which is in Dehradun because it is the only government College which is for girls and it gives them technical knowledge. The college is funded by many government schemes which are very beneficial for us. We have different seminars winners from course in other things also to increase our soft skills as well as other skills. Hair in my 4 year experience I have learnt a lot a lot of things. We get free coaching for MTech i.e GATE classes and other employability training programs and that too free of cost.
