Eco Friendly Environment , Friend in hostel are too good
Faculty is good corporative and are well qualified and well experienced

Dislikes

I didn’t like the Hostel facilities, The hsotel management is not good
Departments of my branch is too far and at high altitude

Course Curriculum Overview :

I am perseuing B-Tach in Computer Science and Engineering I choose Computer Science and Engineering because of todays new technologies I am so fond of exploring new things, Technology related Our faculty is well qualified and well experienced

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 61160 per year

Placement Experience :

I am Currently in Third semester and i am not applicable or ready for a job placement but i have heard from the seniors about the placement they said the placement is too good but it depends upon the student how hard will they wok From semester 5th student is eligible for the placement

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The semester is of 6 months and Fee for every semester is 29500 which includes the examination fee of 1080 BGSBU provides various kinds of scholarships like MeritCum, Post Matric, Social Cast scholarships, social tribe scholarships, Pahari scholarships, Seperate scholarships for girls, scholarships for orphan, Scholarships for Diable

Campus Life :

My life at this campus is average because of the university located at high altitude We have Engineers Day fest that is named as Alfresco fiesta In which we call some famous persons(mainly singers) of the valley Sports cell is also average, they only give refrence to cricket and volleyball but not the football

Hostel Facilities :

I am allotted in APJ Hostel Warden is good and corporative but the facility is not that good like one side of lavatory is blocked Most of the times we have shortage of water so we suffer a lot Mess food is also not good

Hostel Fee : INR 20000 per year

Admission :

My admission was based on the JEE percentile but we can apply without any entrance exams, we just have to call the department head of the branch in which you want to persue the degree BGSBU have the best environment and the best Faculty

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is average as theory teaching is very good but at the same time practical teachings are very bad . There are hardly any tours outside the university. There should be practical teachings and teachers should make friendly environment.

All about NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placements in their 4th year ie. 7-8th semester. All the major recruiters like TCS, Infosys, IBM, Samsung, L&T, Lowes, GAIL, NHPC, and many Govt. PSUs visit the campus for recruitment. A product-based giant like Microsoft has also visited the campus for placement. Average Package of all the branches is around 6-7 lac and for CS/IT the avg package is 11-12 lacs. The highest package last year was of 22 lacs offered by GAIL India to a student from mechanical engineering. 3 students from CS/IT and one from ECE were offered a package of 19 lacs by Lowes India. Many students go for higher studies to top foreign Universities and some in India's top Institutes.
