Course Curriculum Overview :

It was a circuital course and the only circuital branch I was getting by my rank.Faculty: student ratio is 1:40.All professors have phd and post doc qualifications mostly from foreign universities. Exams are very timely.

Class Size : 180Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

As all people know that the power of IIT KGP that in all over India is Great. Along with great opportunities of internship in On Campus Every Multinational Company Come for their internship Session before Summer and Winter In Every Year. Every Student From 5th Semester Can apply for this in Campus internship

Placement Experience :

For Btech students in 7th semester are eligible for placements.All faang companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon come to this campus to collect awesome minds of India. They regularly come to this institution so here we are tentionfree about our placement opportunities. And average percentage of placement about 95%

Fees and Financial Aid :

About 12 lakhs are needed for 4 years to study in iit. But there are many scholarships from the central government of India if family income is less than 5 lakhs per annum.The good scholarships are MCM scholarship and Inspire scholarships for BS courses.

Campus Life :

Annual tech fest:Kshitij(happens in january). Annual fest:Spring fest (happens in January). All type of indian and foreign author books are available in library.There are also good journals. There are huge grounds in our campus.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is also very good in iit kharagpur. 1st year hostels are 3 bedded. In a week,there are 7 non veg and 7 veg meals. The cooking quality of mess food is also very good. Everyone of the college has to take hostel.

Hostel Fee : INR 72000 per year

Admission :

For getting into iit,we have to crack jee mains with above 90 percentile in general category and then we have to crack jee advanced with rank under 10,000.Application forms are found in nta website,and jee advanced form in iit website. For preparation u can join coaching institute.

IIT KGP is amazing!!

Placement Experience:

Students are prepared for placements right from the third semester. Indusrrial training is provided to us and engineering industries like L&T, Bhel, IRS and HAL among others which are in full swing are among the colleges that hires IIT KGP students with an average package of no less than 15-18 lakhs yearly.

IIT Kharagpur : A very well executed institution which helps the students grow and excel in life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well developed and the major areas of learning are adequately addressed. It has prepared students for practice as well as for further education. I wanted to point at such aspects of teaching design that need to be developed : offerings of practical projects and a greater focus on interactive teaching methods. Exams are scheduledd but may prove to need extra assistane for comprehension of some of the contents.

The students get eligible at 3rd year 6th sem. Though before that you can do internship or freelancing which will increase the weight of your profile. The course curriculum is not that different from other colleges. At the beginning or 1 st semester we are made to complete the bridge course which basically includes stuff we read in classes 11 and 12. But then also they can't teach properly the already read topics.
