- The placement percentage, the average, median and highest package are all quite impressive.
- The people are awesome and intellectually stimulating to be around.

- The formation of Ethics Committee which restricts the freedom of college students and make campus life suffocating.
- Life at IIITA is academically really hectic and hard to deal with.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I was interested in the field of information technology, and because the coding culture and placements at IIITA are impressive. The faculty student ratio is one teacher per subject for about 105 students. The faculty are well qualified but the teaching methods need a lot of improvement. Most of the effort is being done by the students at their own end. The term exams do not have enough time in between and sometimes make the curriculum very hectic. The level of the exams is mostly tough.
Internships Opportunities :
I am a first year IT student. We have been informed about some internship opportunities such as google WE. Other than that I don't know much about any internship opportunities, projects or stipend offered by the college as of now.
Placement Experience :
Students become eligible for internship in third year and for placements after the completion of fourth year. A very good percentage of students, that is, about 95% and above get placed every year. The average package for 2022 we're 34-35 LPA. The placements of IIITA are commendable.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure is affordable, considering IIITA is a government college. Completing the course does not require too much expenditure. I haven't availed any scholarship, financial assistance or stipend jobs as of now in this college.
Campus Life :
The campus life is stimulating and enjoyable. The annual fests are: the cultural fest is effervescence, the technical fest is aparoksha and the sports fest is asmita. There are plenty available books in the library related to technology and engineering. There are various active clubs for literature, dance, music, drama, technology, fine arts, sports, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel, though affordable, doesn't have the required level of hygiene. The rooms may seem congested and sometimes, basic amenities such as working electrical sockets, water coolers etc do not function properly. The washrooms are not cleaned regularly enough and there are no jet sprays, which is a huge inconvenience. The girls hostel mess has good quality, enjoyable meals. But the boys hostel mess seems to run into hurdles now and then.
Admission :
In order to get into IIITA, a good jee main percentile is required. The cutoffs vary each year and your CRL Jee main rank should clear the cutoff for the current year. You can apply to any B tech course in the college through JoSAA or DASA. Reservation benefits are seen through lower cutoffs for females, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, PWD, etc. I would like the admission authorities to inform about reporting dates and more relevant information earlier than they usually do.
