Course Curriculum Overview :

So, I am an Engineering Physics Student. Very knowledgeable and helpful professors are there to help us. Many professors are active in the field of research and they still write research papers. The faculty to student ratio of our batch is 1:30 which is pretty good . The exams are also decent with most of it coming from the previous year papers so not so tedious task of preparing for the exams. Coming to my course, some may find it hard at first then would get used to it as some of the subjects are really nice.

Internships Opportunities :

Different types of Internships are available, Some are software related like SDE, SWE, or STEP intern by GOOGLE or other companies. Many big companies like DE Shaw open their intern training programs for the girls of our college. Other Intern opportunities are for Prodyct Management in various startups and others like PWC which offers Management Consulting. Some others are core related internships which are offered to specific branches like Mining, Mechanical, MME etc.

Placement Experience :

Students get eligible for the Placements in their Final Year. However many grap PPOs which gives them a upper hand. Google, Microsoft, Accenture, Media. Net, Qualcomm, Axxela, Future First, PhonePe, Flipkart, Zepto, Texas Instruments, ONGC, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto, SLB etc. Around 80-90? get placed. Others go for MBA or higher education. I plan to do MBA.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I'm a general student with my family income revolving around 6LPA , so I am not eligible for most of the scholarships in the campus. But if someone is from general category and has has a family income of below 5LPA you can get the MCM Scholarship which is very Very helpful. It would cover most of your fees like 70% or so. If 1LPA Or less then your full fee is reimbursed whichever category you belong too. For other category students most of the scholarships are opened MCM being the main. I'm a student still and from what I am seeing the oncampus opportunities are pretty good.

Campus Life :

Annual Fest - Srijan, January Annual Tech fest - Concetto, September Annual sports fest - Parakram, March Annual Mining Fest - Khanan, August Ours is the 2nd largest technical library in Central Asia, so the books are in abundance. Classrooms are tidy and few are AC equipped. However WIFI is something which most of them lack and charging sockets for each bench is also not there. All of the classrooms are smart board equipped so it's a plus point. Our college has many clubs, be it Technical or Cultural you have got it all, and even some self help too. We have 2 NGOs too run by the students.

Hostel Facilities :

We live in the newly built Aquamarine Hostel which is by far the best hostel in our college. Rooms are vey spacious with means for double accommodation, two almirahs, two tables, chairs and beds. Rooms are well lightened too and fans are also good. The mess food is good too with the menu being different for each day. There are three types of food being served, Veg, Non Veg, Jain. One can choose from any of those. The breakfast are the best part with options varying from Eggs, Omlette, Poha Jalebi, Aloo Parathe, Sandwiches, Idli, Vada Bread butter, jam. The lunch is also quite good with Roti and Rice being served everyday with different choices of curry. Someday chicken curry, Fish, Eggs, Koftas etc. Dinner is also the same with some variations. Never went through the locality for finding a lodge but i assume they would be pretty costly

Admission :

Gave the JEE Mains first then got a not so decent rank of 31000 . Then came JEE Advanced examination where I stood at around 12000 rank. I went to IIT(ISM) Dhanbad choosing Mining Engineering but then after 1st year changed my branch to Engineering Physics.

The placements are declining day by day. In 2022 the average package was around 14lpa and highest was 56lpa but after that it has decreased significantly. Percentage of students have also declined . In ECE around 80% students get placed with an average package of 11lpa . Companies like Nvidia do visit the campus.

After the completion of 3 rd years, students are eligible for placement. About 10 companies came when I was there and they don't have soo many offers. The highest package of 10 lakh waa given to our best student in computer science the average package was 5-6 lakh that's the average package of most colleges here it is the same. The placements of students were quite average about 70 % cause most of the students get diverted. I planned to go in some other field apart from engineering.
