Campus is peaceful and the student-faculty and junior-senior relations6are quite healthy and encouraging.

Campus culture overly leaning to CS field.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is decently structured according to the global academic and industry standards. The infrastructure and resources for Electronics & Communication Engineering and Faculty-Student ratio is also quite good at IIIT Allahabad. However, the excessively-hectic academic schedule and mismanagement in course coordination adds extra, unnecessary burden on students.

Class Size : 130Course Fees : INR 400000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Just like placements the institute does provide several internship opportunities as well, with many industry leading as well as newly established companies. In-campus internship opportunities are also available.

Placement Experience :

The institute is famous for its near 100%placement records every year with decent packages for students with undergrad and Postgrad qualifications. All the industry leading companies come to the institute for hiring

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure at IIIT Allahabad is as per the national standard. For PwD students like myself, the tuition fee is also waived off. And the college helps you aquire various national, state or other scholarships.

Campus Life :

There are many councils and societies dedicated to technical skill development and extra curricular activities like, Sports, Music, Dance, Literature, etc. On the technical culture part, the institute is a bit to oriented towards Computer Science / IT field only, because of which, students who are interested in core electronics may feel the absence of encouraging environment.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 8 hostels in total, 5 for boys and 3 for girls. The hostel facilities are decent for boys with separate hostel for 1st year students to avoid incidents of ragging. However the as the number of female students is increasing every year, the 3 girls hostels are now running over-capacity where sometimes 3 girls have to share the same room which is only designed for 2 residents. The mess food is average in most hostels.

Hostel Fee : INR 14000 per year

Admission :

The admission at the Indian Institute of Information Technology happens through IIT-JEE Mains rankings through the regular process JOSAA/CSAB counselling. I got my admission under PwD-OBC reservation scheme of the government of India.

The Campus life

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is decent highest package was 30 lac per annum and average is 6-7 lac per annum....From 6th semester u are eligible for the campus placements.... companies that visited are- IBM, TCS,etc I just don't remember now there are many... percent of students getting placements are near about 80% i guess

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college. The highest package is 16 lacs per annum and the average package is 4 lacs per annum. 95 % of students of the batch get placement every year. My plan is to get a placement in a product-based company after completing my degree.

Best college for developing startup skills

Remarks:

The best part of this college is that it has an incubation centre which is governed by the DST government of India to promote new innovative ideas and mould the incubator to start there startup and became an entrepreneur.

Admission:

I always want to become a mechanical engineer because innovation and technology attracts me. This college focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship Development skill and this is the main reason to select this college.
