Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum is well planned and containing all required needs for a student in future to acquire possible skills that are required. Faculty are well qualified and dignified. Teaching methods are good and satisfactory for a student who is willing to learn. Term exams contains minimum weightage that can be able to cover easily.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 96000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

For a Btech guy, college will offer internships in 3rd year with number of companies. These are mainly depends on skills and abilities. We can choose the good comp6to be placed according to our skills and all.

Placement Experience :

Placements are well considering factor in this college. Academics focuses well on placements and they will provide extra classes for placements if it is required. Highest package is nearly 1.2CPA Average package for an offer is around 8LPA. Nearly 90 percent of students will get placed during placements

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees will be more, but compared to other colleges it is not at all more and it is affordable. If anyone not able to pay the fees college is well in providing bank loans and various scholarships. Even they will help in terms of applying for scholarships if it is required.

Campus Life :

Per a semester, there will be two fests like Vibrance and techno VIT. These are managed by well coordinators. Recently published books and all kind of journals up to date will be available in Central library. These are well in encouraging sports and extra curricular activities not only on studies. Mainly almost every club in college will run by a student coordinator with some faculty coordinator.

Hostel Facilities :

Room will be according to preference. It contains a bed, desk, study table, shoe rack, windows with mesh and all. Room maintenance is really an appreciable factor in hostel. For hostel, we can arrange during admission itself, but sometimes we need to wait if there is no vacancy, but most of the times the rooms will be available according to our preference.

Hostel Fee : INR 120000 per year

Admission :

While registering for this college, I gone thoroughly about the college related to packages and internships. I choose Integrated mtech as my degree which is an advanced course of Btech. For this there is no need of any entrance exam. Eligibility for this course is the percentage of 12th board either in State board or Central board. Queries related about this application will be able to find in Official college site. There is no place for reservation that admission purely based on percentage. I'm well satisfied about admission process, I guess there is no need of improvement that it is already well planned.

Placement Experience:

The placements are so good after first semester based on the CGPA the companies will start recruiting in second semester. The highest package is 36LPA(including all benefits from company) and the average package is around 13 LPA. Some companies will ask above 60% and some will ask above 70%, 75% etc its based on the company

Why you should prefer IIT Madras over other IIT's for Mtech/Btech (CSE).

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cirriculum is perfect , machine learning is specialised here , course like Deep learning , PRML , linear algebra , AI offered here are best. Grade distribution is also fine here not as such burder , they give assignments and quizes.

I am pursuing ME computer science and engineering course from AVCE.It is a two-year duration course with 4 specializations. Candidates who have completed BE or B.Tech in relevant discipline are eligible to join ME course. Admission to ME program is given on the basis of GATE/ TANCET scores. I got selected on the basis of my GATE score.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very nice. They often organise on-campus placement drives. Companies like grassroots,intelenet, Revol Softwares, Aqua groups, IDBI etc visit the campus with good job opportunities.

IICPT review for MTech Course

Admission:

Admission is on the basis of IIFPT Post Graduate Entrance Examination. A merit list is prepared on the basis of the entrance exam scores and overall academic performance of the student. I always wanted to join the institute for a bachelor’s, but opting for the Food Tech trade was a last minute decision.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college is pretty decent. Many companies visited our campus this year compared to the previous batch. But still there is a lot of scope for improvement. The average salary package offered is around 3-4 LPA. There is a placement cell which deals with all the placement activities. Students have to search for internships on their own.

Entrance Preview:

I took JEE, I got the rank 2439. I opted for this particular because It was largest and has good name in industry. Also it was close to home and food was to my liking. I found out about food by Alumni.

Placement Experience:

Placement opportunities are very good centrally meaning consultancy, analytics, business etc, while in my department it could be better. General electrics, and core recruiters Hi-fi companies comes once in 2-3 years due to student leaving the companies after a few months for an entrepreneurship or startup. Highlight in Core recruitment: While Rolls-Royce was opened for M. Tech. Students in our department.
