Remarks :

Their are many positive remarks i have for the college it is best in every field its upto students how much they grasp from the facility which college provides lot to learn and explore by seeing people from all over india , we can see complete indian culture in one place

Course Curriculum Overview :

Exam structure is like every other college in every semester 2internal exam and one final semester exam, if you get backlog then you have to pay the amount and clear the backlog, you can clear the backlogs before the course duration.

Placement Experience :

Placement are too good in this college every year it get some record for the best placement institution of india and for internship you have to search outside you have to go and give the interview and get selected.

College Events :

Main events in VIT are techno vit and vibrance, in tehno vit main things related to tech are their various games include indoor , outdoor , computer game competion are their and in vibrance its the main fest of VIT chennai where games,dance sports many things are done even people from various colleges come and represent their collee.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Its somewhat expensive as every year fees are increasing to some extent.i was passed out in 2018 that time academics fees for 1year for mca was around 2lkhs excludeing mess and room charges u can select room and mess according to your wants.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I dont have idea about scholarship in my batch no one got scholarship but the one who scores best in the batch gets some amount and even top 3 students gets some amount, i dont think that VIT provides load facility.

Campus Life :

Vit offers many extracurricular activities which have good world class facility computer labs, physics labs, chemistry labs, mat labs, and it also have e-library, in sports it has basketball,volleyball,football, tennis, badminton court.

Hostel Facilities :

mess and room charges u can select room and mess according to your wants. It starts from 2in a room to 6person in a room you can opt for ac as well as non ac rooms and in mess it have of 3types, south mess, north mess and special mess

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes they are very helpful its upto us how we create our network if we have good network that would be goor for us in every aspect for jobs for friendship for many other purpose and senior students in vit were very helpful.

Admission :

VIT conducts its own entrance test for admission, its test centre are all over india almost every good cities have test centre where you can go and give the test after the test it completely depends on the rank where you get admission

Faculty :

VIT is among the top best college of india and faculties are too good in every aspect whatever may be teaching with the best daily life examples, for every subject they have good faculty whatever may be sports, extra curricular etc

TRUTH of MCA in VIT

Placement Experience:

1. For my course MCA, studnets become eligible form 2nd year onwards for internship and from july they become eligible for full time placements 2. total 26 companies came, but only 5-6 of them genuinely turned up for online assessments or interview. Rest of them either they preffered MTECH students or did not even turned up 3. Highest package offered was PhonePay with 34 Lakhs/yr, lowest was 4 lakh per/yr which was Pravyuha Private solutions limited. 4. 5% only as of now placed 5. To get placed in a good IT Company

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester the students will be placed in campus drive. The college placement team gets a lot of company placements. The companies are TCS, Infosys and so on. The average package is 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7-10LPA in our college placements.

NITT MCA

Placement Experience:

For MCA , the internship season starts in the beginning of second year , many famous companies like Uber, GS, Visa ,KLA visit our college . The highest package in MCA placement is 52 LPA and median is 10 LPA. Many students get PPO from the summer internship. The placement percentage for the year 2024 is not that good , but NITT MCA holds a good record of top placements.

The carricullum for our course was changed few years back and it is focused on both learning and placement perspective and it provides real time experience as well. The exams are done regularly in for of 2 cycle test within a semester and at the end of semester we have end sem exam.

Admission:

The candidates need to fill an registration form for applying for the UG and the PG coursed offered in the college with the registration fee.The demand draft should be paid to the Alagappa University Karaikudi. The fee would be reasonable for the application. It has its own entrance exams for all the integrated and post graduate coursed with the personal interview and the group discussion. The final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of the performance in group discussion and personal interview. Based on the merit the under graduate and the post graduate admissions are done.

Yes, the placement cell would provide the best placement opportunities to its students. The placement cell is committed to provide all possible assistance to graduates and postgraduates in their efforts to find employment.Yes our college provides internship and that would be turned to a permanent post in a due course of time.
