Hostel life is very good in this college and there is lots of fun with friends.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The main reason behind choosing the ECE branch is my interest about this domain.See here faculty to student ratio is quite impressive.Most of the faculty members are well qualified like they mostly complete their PhD from IIT / NIT..In NIT jamshedpur Mid sem exams are held after 2 months of starting date of semester which is of 30 marks and end sem are held after 4 months starting date of semester which is of 50 marks..

Class Size : 118Course Fees : INR 85000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

The internship is available in our college there are lots of companies that comes for internship such as Amazon ,Accenture, Tata Steel ,Tata motor ,atlasion etc. There are very good opportunities for internship in our college nearly 50 to 60 percent student get an internship.

Placement Experience :

4th year students are eligible for placements and nearly 200 companies visit our campus erespective of the rank of the NIT Jamshedpur it gives a very good placement comparing to other nites or even some iits in last two three years and it Jamshedpur is improved according to placements.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

FEE Structure - 100% Tuition Fee waiver for SC/ST/PH students. Full remission of the Tuition Fee for General and OBC students whose family income is less than Rs.1 lakh per annum. Remission of 2/3rd of the Tuition Fee for General and OBC students whose family income is between Rs.1 lakh to Rs.5 lakh per annum.

Campus Life :

Overall college life in nit jamshedpur is good .Many fest happen time to time. Like we have sports fest named urja which happen in months of november cultural fest which happens in months of February and March. Their is a library also which is not as big as it should be.But it have all thr important books. Sports and extra curricular activities happen and have fest for them.

Hostel Facilities :

The room is a dual seater in the first year and from the second year, it's a single room for every student. The room has a fan, a lan port two cupboards for each student, a huge window, a table, two beds, and a chair. The mess food is okay (as expected). They provide 4 times meal - breakfast,lunch, snacks and dinner.

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

Eligibility Criteria - (1)12th appearing or 12th passed (2) with minimum 75% marks in 12th board for general/ obc/ ews. And with minimum 65% in 12th board for sc/st/PWD.Or in the top 20 percentile in their respective boards. Entrance exam - (1) JEE Mains ( you can find the application form at NTA website)

All you need to know about BIT MESRA

Placement Experience:

The placements are declining day by day. In 2022 the average package was around 14lpa and highest was 56lpa but after that it has decreased significantly. Percentage of students have also declined . In ECE around 80% students get placed with an average package of 11lpa . Companies like Nvidia do visit the campus.

B.I.T My Home town

Placement Experience:

The placement of this college is good. Approx. every student is placed. The average placement is 6 lakh. The students are eligible from the 7th semester for placement. The company visited are Tata steel, Vedanta, JSW, Tata Power, Tata Long Products, Deloitte, Sclumbereg, Amazon, Samsung, CISCO, Akash, Fiitjee, Byjus, etc. many big companies. In every company there are 5 to 6 students are placed. The placement package of Tata steel is 10 lakh, amazon is 44 lakh, etc. The percentage of students getting placements is 85 %. I want to go for teaching in Akash or Byjus, etc.

NIT JAMSHEDPUR what you learn and what you experience

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement from the 3rd semester, many students got PPO offers and almost all big companies visited and there were 2-3 offers on everyone and there is 100% placement and the highest package was 35 LPA by Microsoft and the lowest was 3-4 LPA by mass recruiters like tcs and Infosys. Everyone used to work after getting placed.

An average stundet of cs

Placement Experience:

After the completion of 3 rd years, students are eligible for placement. About 10 companies came when I was there and they don't have soo many offers. The highest package of 10 lakh waa given to our best student in computer science the average package was 5-6 lakh that's the average package of most colleges here it is the same. The placements of students were quite average about 70 % cause most of the students get diverted. I planned to go in some other field apart from engineering.
