- The events are quite amazing and interesting and fun to go it provides the best campus life.
- The hostels are affordable and the location of the university is near all the popular landmarks.
Dislikes
- The exam timings are around December and january sometimes
- The papers are not shown after exams if you ever doubt but it can be sent for recheck.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this curriculum as I was quite interested in the field of journalism and Amity is popular for it's communication school and journalism department, the faculty members are nice and very supportive towards the students help them to bloom in life both professional and personal ways. There are 5 main faculty members in ASCO Amity University Ranchi, The exams will be easy if you are attentive in class and study well , The teachers are very helpful. All over it's very easy to pass the examinations at Amity.
Internships Opportunities :
Zee news, news 11, Radio orange, Formsadda come for internships and even placements for the students, I had my Internship in formsadda it was a great experience with one of the best mentors it was a paid internship and with a pre placement offer if you work well.
Placement Experience :
2nd and 3rd semester usually gets to do an internship which helps them build up their own skills, The highest package recently is 62 lac per anumati that was for a student in B. Tech CSE. Almost 90-95% get placed every year. My personal plans would be opting for campus placement and then masters in future.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees is around INR 2,90,000 it includes all the other expenses and the college doesn't demand any extra charges for events held in campus. One can easily avail scholarship if they have scored more than 80% in their 12th and maintain to be in the Top 10 students of class. The fees for almost all courses are quite affordable and pocket friendly
Campus Life :
Amiphoria, Amitech and Sangathan and much more events are held in the University that helps finding new talent, appreciate and cherish. Library is quite big and easy to access , one can read and borrow books whenever he or she wishes to. Talking of the amenities of classroom all the classrooms have amazing infrastructure with home theatre and smart boards the university owns a ground with football court and volleyball court. There are clubs as per the student's interest such as dance, anchoring, drama, environment club etc.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels have both 3 seaters and 2 seaters both the rooms are well furnished and are pocket friendly without food it is around 4500 rupees where as 6200 with food, one can also avail mess from outside if they wish to if the food isn't good for them. There are various rooms and P. Gs available too if one wishes to stay independently.
Admission :
The admissions were on the basis of English speaking skills and interview , one was supposed to submit their documents as well as fees on the amizone website to register online as well. The admissions are mainly till September and the admission process is quite easy if you are good at English speaking and writing
