Remarks :

Amity provides exposure to the outside world and it also prepares the students to deal with the competitive world.Amity gives more of practical knowledge which is so much better than any other college. The faculty in Amity is genuinely serious about the student's academic development and they work hard to ensure that each student would thrive when they go out in the industry. Amity helps student's in uplifting their passion and showcasing their talents by providing various opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The faculty in Amity is very kind and humble. All the teachers have a deep knowledge in their respective fields. They are very serious about the student's academic development and they work hard to ensure that each student would thrive when they go out in the industry. They teach with real life examples which makes it easy for the students to understand.

Placement Experience :

The placement is not satisfactory. Amity being a well known and reputed college is not justifying it's value. Placements in amity University Jharkhand are very poor. The average package offered is around 3-5 LPA.

College Events :

Amity University is known for its campus but unfortunately Amity University Jharkhand doesn't have a campus yet. The college is divided into three different buildings which are taken on rent. The college organizes the annual cultural and sports fest which is known as Amiphoria in the month of March or April. The fest is the most awaited event of the year. It is filled with lots of exciting events like dance competitions, battle of bands fashion show, singing competition, face painting etc. Students who win the fashion show are honoured as Mr or Ms Amiphoria.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Fate, I just slipped in the name of the college, 'social service'. Never do that mistake. That too if u r experienced, Please do not even see the college website. I chose rural management, funny. 75 students in a class. 6-7 faculty in the department. Half of the faculty doesn't speak proper English. There is a lady called Aditi who is placement coordinator. She cannot speak a word in English. She is the placement coordinator.... just imagine situation of the placement. In the second year of the college, from each department, a placement representative will be selected through election. All the PRs should work under her. That's the horrible part. She is a coordinator but acts like a gangster. U cannot call her with name. In 2020, that too a professional course, u cannot call anybody with name. Same old slave mentality. U should call by mam and sir. She ruined my entire second year because I was a non hindi speaking student. Teaching faculties are well qualified but 1940-50 methodologies

Placement Experience:

The placements and internship opportunities are excellent here. After three months you get the summer internship and after the internship, some 50% get pre-placement offers and the rest are placed in their 5th semester. There is no one left behind without placements.

All the students get placed so 100% placements. Major companies like HUL, P&G, BCG, Nestle, Mondelez, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, Flipkart, GSK, etc visit the campus for placements. Average package offered was 19.21 lakhs for 2017 batch.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very good. It focuses on practical learning from case studies of Ivey Business Schools. The electives and specialization have to be chosen in the second year. We can specialize in 2 courses of our choice in the second year.

Fantastic college, facilities, atmosphere, faculty and peer network. Only disadvantage that the campus faces is that it is located in Jamshedpur, so it means a fair bit of travel to reach there from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore or Hyderabad.

Remarks:

My overall remarks about this college is good. however I just want to give one suggestion that it should grow its infrastructure as space available is not much. for example play ground is there but very small and library is attached with computer lab.
