the thing to like firstly is the college campus itself ,it's beautiful with a lot of trees.

Dislikes

not much to explore in iit kanpur,it's a pretty boring city.
the academics here is pretty tough and with an even tough grading system.

Course Curriculum Overview :

my course curriculum as it is iits is obviously on the tougher side , i chose civil engineering as it open many prospects of government jobs in the future,the student ratio is 4:1,most of the faculties are overly qualified,the grading is a bit tough but if you study properly you would be able to paas

Class Size : 200Course Fees : INR 250000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

the students start preparing for comapnies in the summer break after 1st year ,they can apply for internships through the students palcement office or through off campus.most of the top mncs offer internships in fields such as ml,sde,data analytics etc.

Placement Experience :

studets become eligible for campus placements from their 7th semester,almost all big mncs visit our campus and out of almost 1200 students ,around 1050 offers were made in 2022.The highest package was 4 crore in 2021 and average package is somewhere around 15-16 lpa,almost all students get placed usually but this year due to recession the placement percentage went down a little bit but it was same for almost every college,it wasn't college specififc perse.I don't have anything on my mind about what to do after my degree here,i will just see how the life goes.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The tuition fees for people belonging to marginalised communities such as sc/st and pwd is comepletely free.Fee waivered is also given to people from obc and general category based on their family income.Students can get several scholarships based on their economic background.

Campus Life :

the life at campus is pretty fun ,we have several fest going on around the year.Antaragni which is the annual fest is one of the largest collge fests of the country and our annual techfest techkriti is asia's largest techfest.The classrooms are fully air conditioned,we have coaches and fiels for almost all kinds of sports with having an olypic sized swimming pool.There are plenty of clubs here.

Hostel Facilities :

we are provided a bed and a table,most of the people here live in shared rooms except for the fourth years,the mess meal quality is okay ,they also have extras which you can take by giving money,the registration process for hostels was all taken care of by the college itself.

Hostel Fee : INR 25000 per year

Admission :

The josaa counselling process for admissions into the prestigious iits is an intricate and competitive procedure. Upon the announcement of JEE advanced and JEE mains result, candidates undergo rigorous rounds of counselling and seat allocation by Josaa.I had 5639 in jee advanced. i chose iit kanpur due to its strict academic curriculum and its proximity being close to my home

Sanskriti University A place to write own future

Placement Experience:

The 6 semester student becomes eligible for the campus placement. TCS , Infosys,zomato , swiggy , cognizant these are the some companies that come for the placements. The highest packege is of 54 lakh while the lowest is of 3 lakh About 92 percent student get placement every year . I'm also looking forward for a better placement opportunity from college after the completion of the degree.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible from the 7th semester in Computer Science Engineering. There are many companies who visited our Camplus like Byjus, Capgemini, Amazon, etc. The highest package is 44 LPA from Microsoft and the average package is 6.5 LPA. 90% of Students get placed every year.

To get admission in this college,one must have to clear joint entrance exam that is conducted by CBSE in the month of march-april every year.after that this college has own counselling process so students have to go through .
